Beau is the work I am proudest of in 2024 and is easily the best sewing and finishing work I’ve ever done! It’s the quality I’m hoping to carry into 2025 as I work on basically 2 costumes all year!

For the last 9 months I have been prepping this shoot and many exciting things to follow all in the name of @rascals.cosplay and I’m so grateful to say I had the most amazing weekend ever!

My wonderful Mighty Nein, you all looked so good and you have put so much effort into your cosplays, thank you so much for trusting me and believing in this!

The Tog Team you were phenomenal! From the lit studio and sets built in our Airbnb, night shoots in the wind, shenanigans and some insane video shots, I cannot wait to see what you are cooking.

Highly recommend getting a bunch of your mates together and starting a cosplay group, we will be doing this again, until then enjoy our bts

10 years ago today I went to MCM London for the first time, and dressed up just for fun - who’d have known where it would have taken me!

I have had the most amazing opportunities through cosplay. I have been filmed and featured by Lucasfilm, held panels across the UK, worked events, met celebrities and met the most important people in my life. These are just a few of my favourite photos and cosplays I have but there are so many more I could have included! (The x-wing is there only because it’s my reluctant legacy)

I do have to throw it all to one person in particular though. I met @rosewater_rain that day and she fully kidnapped me into this hobby and I can’t thank her enough!

It’s #wipwednesday and I have another update on Caduceus!!! This week, alongside some other bitty jobs, I got his sleeve all finished!

This thing was a nightmare trying to figure out what method of making the dragonfly pattern wouldn’t affect the drape of the chiffon too much but @madharryquests was spot on with the suggestion of Jacquard fabric paints (yes I did this by hand, yes I’m crazy)

It took 2 days to get the paint on and set properly with a lovely iridescent finish, and another day of manually sewing rolled hems but it’s done and I have nearly all the base bits of cad done for MCM. The shirt and the wig are next!
