My cinco de mayo baby turned 12!! I had a few moments to reflect on how epic his birthday surprise party was ! He was so shocked !! Still can’t believe he is 12. He is kind, strong, smart and I am so proud of him. This year he tried so many new things, and put in effort into the things he already loves. Yesterday was the Tristan Alexander Memorial Judo Tournament, which means it’s been one year since Weston’s first tournament. Each week I step onto the mat with my children and get humbled by not only them but the other kids and parents in our club. I honestly didn’t know anything about this sport before we joined, and my knowledge was put to the test as our amazing Sensai was sick and unable to be there with us. I had to step up in a different way, but because the parents and kids at our club know me it went so well! They all did so amazing, and we all had each other’s backs! This club is so much more than what happens on the mat ! Weston and Cohen both came home with gold and big tired smiles. I left with a warm and very proud heart. Thank you @opajudo by @thechooslife

This little dude earned his yellow belt tonight! Judo is our new Sunday reset and something we all look forward to each week! Cohen eagerly steps onto the mat and really enjoys this sport, I can’t wait to see where it will take him! 🥋 💛🎉 by @thechooslife

This cool dude got to represent @opajudo at not only his first Provincial tournament but a first for this club. I never want to forgot his excitement and smile leading up to this event, and I never want to forget how much heart and determination he carried into his competitions. He didn’t get the result he wanted, but that didn’t change how proud we are of him! He eagerly talked about hoping to have this opportunity again and how he could improve and how much he LOVES this sport ! Other people have told me raising kids keeps getting better and better…. and as much as I mourn him being little, gosh my heart is so full!! ❤️🥹🥋 by @thechooslife

2025, the year Cohen asked Santa for a dirt bike and Rayah asked for a monkey 🐵 😅
Also Cohen is wearing a Christmas sweater that used to be my moms, how special ❤️ 🥹
