✨The most whimsical birthday full of MAGIC✨

My 25th Birthday was about much more than going to DisneyWorld. It was about a promise I made to myself to bring the whimsy and magic back into my life that I once had before! Disney has always been my safe space whether it’s the movies, tv shows, or the parks. I can always count on Disney to remind me that though life may be hard it can also be magical! I’m so blessed to have been able to go on this trip! My friends and I were also made Honorary Grand Marshals in honor of my birthday at The DisneyWorld Parade at Magic Kingdom! As tears of joy came down my face it reminded me of how good God is and how I made the right decision on taking my magic back! Thank you to Leilani, Maya, Donae, and Jadyn for being such amazing, beautiful, and supportive friends coming with me on this trip! I love you all so much! To my bestie, thank you for being my everything! There are no words to express my gratitude for how special you made my birthday! Thank you for all the love, late nights, and strength that went into my birthday trip! I love you for life and I’m blessed to have you as my bestie truly!

To my mommy, thank you for reminding me that I will always be royalty inside and out hence my middle name(Reign)! You introducing me to Disney and its magic will always stay with me because you are always my Disney buddy! Thank you for all of your love, sacrifices, and dedication that went into all of my birthday celebrations! You truly made 25 feel special! God truly blessed me when He gave me you! I love you forever and ever! You are my world!

Thank you to all of you for all of the love you’ve shared for me in my 25th year! Hearing and seeing the love has meant the world to me and I don’t take it for granted! It’s been a lot of happy tears with realizing how blessed I am! God is Good! Love you all to infinity and beyond!

I am so happy to have received the Chapter Soror of the Year Award from thee illustrious and AWARD WINNING Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated! This award from them is so special to me because they are the chapter that has truly raised me up and showed me what it means and looks like to do the true work of Delta! Since I was 4 years old they have always been there to support me, guide me, and show me so much love! Being the Chair of Arts and Letters has absolutely been a blessing because it’s shown me that I am capable of making great change in my community through my love for the arts! Through programs such as Delta’s Got Talent, CAAC Book Club, and seeing many community/professional shows we have been able to educate our community on how important and critical the arts is in order to create societal and personal growth! Thank you to our hard working Executive Board who bestowed this honor to me! I love you all so much! Thank you to my committee and chapter members for all of your help, support, and encouragement! Last but certainly not least thank you to my Soror Mommy who has always supported me, prayed for me, and encouraged me that I was more than capable to do anything I put my mind to! On March 1st, I produced, performed, and stage managed the very first Delta’s Got Talent Showcase on behalf of The Cerritos Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated as the Chair of Arts and Letters! This would not have happened without my Committee and my Alumnae Chapter @cerritosareadst believing in my vision. The purpose of the showcase was to show the talent in our community and how we must support each other’s dreams! Thank you to every performer who got on that stage and fearlessly showed your beautiful talents! Thank you to @shakeema.prescott for being such a huge help! Thank you to our host Star for leading our program beautifully! Thank you to @djvixenk for keeping the vibes up the entire show! Thank you to my sandz @cierra.bush for not only coming but snapping these beautiful moments! Thank you to my undergraduate chapter @dstnuupsilon for volunteering to help out with the event! Thank you to my family, every Soror, and every audience member who came and supported the event! Big Shoutout to my mother, @deltaluv1 for performing and helping me to make this event a reality! Lastly, thank you to my brother Kyler, for making my Disney Princess dreams come true and singing, “A Whole New World” with me! This event was truly a blessing and I could not be happier with how it came together❤️🥹✨

God is so GOOD! I am so honored to be apart of the Experience “The Dream” MLK the Musical Cast as Sister Mary Powell! This has been such a beautiful experience to share the story of two monumental visionaries that I am so grateful for! Thank you @keshaealy @mmason.entertainment @sayitwithaflower for giving me this amazing opportunity! So blessed to know you all! Thank you to my cast and crew for being such blessings to work with! Meet Cierra Reign Watkins who plays Mary Powell!

@thecierrareign attended San Diego State University in which she graduated in 2023 with a degree in Theatre Arts with an Emphasis in Performance, Magna Cum Laude. At San Diego State, she founded The Black Renaissance Theatre Organization that is still currently showcasing Black talent and creativity in theatre and film at San Diego State. Cierra has performed in the following productions: Pippin (The Leading Player/Jaxx Theatricals), The Wiz (Dorothy/Teatro San Diego), Cabaret (LuLu/Jaxx Theatricals), A Raisin in the Sun (Ruth, SDSU), Love’s Labor’s Lost (Rosaline/SDSU), Dog Sees God (Van’s Sister, SDSU), and All the Queens Men (Background/Tyler Perry Studios). She is a TSAW (Tasha Smith Actor’s Workshop) student and an Open Jar Alum.

Being able to tell the stories of my people has always been the purpose of my craft and I’m so excited that I get to do that with this amazing show! I want to thank @keshaealy and @mmason.entertainment for giving me the opportunity to do this show that is filled with so much history, truth, love, faith, and joy! This Wednesday was my first time EVER performing my own work! I’ve been a secret writer for a long time now lol! When my lovely friend Brian asked me to do this showcase I knew this would be the perfect opportunity to premiere it. Daughter of the Bride is a piece that is very near and dear to my heart and this showcase has encouraged me to continue to write it. Thank you Brian for giving me the space and opportunity to do the most vulnerable and beautiful work I’ve done so far in my career. I will forever be grateful and have so much love for you! Thank you Kyler for being my Tom and being there for me through it all. Thank you to every single person that came up to me to tell me their thoughts on my work! It meant the absolute world to me to know that people resonated with what I wrote and performed. Thank you to my mom for encouraging me to perform my written work because it took a lot of strength to step out on faith and believe in myself! She told me to believe in myself, my training from SDSU and @tsaw_official , and that God has a plan for me! ❤️

I was also able to perform a piece called Chuck with my lovely friend Jacob that will always be a memorable piece for me! Thank you for your patience and talented brilliance❤️
