I said YESSSS! 💍🥹🤍

There was a time in my life when I truly didn’t know if a love like this was in the cards for me. I was focused on being the best mom I could be and working hard, not interested in a relationship when I met Jay.

I had been in an emotionally abusive marriage, and after hearing certain things for so long, you start to believe them. Then I’d get online and see the same messages… “Nobody wants a woman with two kids.” “Who’s going to want you?” “You’re lower value now.” And for a while, I believed it.

So if you’re a single mom reading this, especially one who is starting over after a relationship that broke you down, please don’t let anyone convince you that your story is over or that your children somehow make you less deserving of love. 🤍

The right person won’t look at you and your babies as baggage. They’ll love the life that comes with loving you.

And this man made sure our babies were part of this moment too. He planned matching outfits for all of us and proposed to me on the Love Lock Bridge, where we got to add our own personalized lock. 🔐🥹It couldn’t have been more perfect.

And a special shoutout to my sisters for helping him pull everything together and keeping the secret cause I know that wasn’t easy 😂
This next chapter feels extra special because I know what it took to get here ❤️‍🩹

Not blaming anyone but I will say, choose a partner who values family, your culture, respects YOU, because eventually it affects every area of your life. I wasn’t allowed to bring my son and later my daughter after she was born… what mother wants to go to another country without their child/children? I now have a partner who loves my family, culture etc and he came with us as well. ✈️ Didn’t get to take pics of everything but they fully enjoyed it! Can’t wait to go back 🙌🏽🥺 I think it’s so important to teach your kids about their culture and where they come from, how other people live outside of the U.S. and how privileged they are to live & be born here. I will never be ashamed of where my family is from and what they overcame to give me a better life. 🫶🏼#gratitude #elsalvador

I’ve been trying to focus on more than just losing the baby weight, I’m mostly focusing on my health and one of the main things I struggled with was constipation and bloating 😪

As a mom of three, finding activities for my kids can quickly turn into having way too many tabs open trying to compare all the different options. 😮‍💨

I recently found Recess, and they just launched in Dallas! It makes it so much easier to discover local summer camps, sports, enrichment programs, and after-school activities all in one place.

There are still some great last-minute summer camps available for families, and I also found their Weekly Camp Specials, which highlight discounts from participating programs to help families make the most of their summer budgets.
