I’ve posted so many client transformations, but this one is mine.

Around October, I developed sudden, severe cystic hormonal acne. My skin went from balanced and healthy to inflamed, oily, and painful almost overnight. It was one of the hardest seasons of my life — not just physically, but emotionally. As someone who works in one of the top acne clinics in the world, I felt embarrassed and ashamed that people would question my credibility just by looking at my skin.

But acne doesn’t discriminate — and healing takes time. I had to surrender to the same process we ask our patients to trust. I followed an aggressive skin protocol, and began a microdose of Accutane. Three months in, things finally started to shift. Six months later, I feel like myself again, with healthier and stronger skin than I had before.

To anyone struggling with acne: you’re not alone. It’s a journey. It often gets worse before it gets better, but that part is temporary. You can heal. And if you need help — near or far — our practitioners are here for you. Just call one of our four centers. There’s hope, and there’s help.
