simon is a man with many past traumas, flaws, and regrets. Despite this, he is perceived as a quick thinker and highly determined, doing whatever he can to survive. His will to live appears stronger than his desire for freedom. Simon is paranoid, worried, and frightened at the prospect of being sealed inside a submarine within a blood ocean. He more than likely has panic attacks in confined spaces.
when discovered by Dr. Ryland Grace, Simon was in rough shape. His mutations were flared up, yet it was what was keeping him alive, as well as the blood that surrounded him. His mutation over a course of a few weeks began to fade into scars or shifted back into his skin/body and he appeared like a normal human being after that. Once they faded, he became conscious a couple of days later.
since Simon was causing and inflicting severe harm to himself, the ship, and the monster at the end of his journey, he was angry and scared and obviously being very violent. So, anytime he’s in deep distress, his mutation makes an appearance.
from the right side of his mouth up to his cheekbone,the skin rips open with sharp fish like teeth, along with his right ear turning pointy and scaly. His eyes turn crimson red and glows vibrantly. Along his spine, small hollow scale looking tendrils appear making him appear more monstrous than human.
due to his mutations, it makes him 2x stronger, and violent at times depending on what’s happening. He will destroy anything and everything in his path if not handled correctly/properly.
