Music has always been the one thing that makes me feel the most like myself.

And I think somewhere along the way, especially as we get older, we start feeling guilty for wanting more. For chasing the things that light us up. For making space for a dream when life is already full of responsibilities.

But I don’t want to feel guilty for that anymore.

I want to chase this as far as it will take me. I want to say yes to the stages that scare me, the opportunities I once thought were out of reach, and the version of myself I’ve always known was in there.

You’re allowed to want more for your life. You’re allowed to take your dreams seriously. And you’re allowed to be proud of yourself for still believing in them. 🖤

It’s hard to put into words what an honor it is to sing our National Anthem on a day that carries so much heartbreak, sacrifice, and remembrance for our country.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the heroes who ran toward danger on September 11th. I’m incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to honor them in the small way I know how — through music.

Thank you for having me today. I’ll see y’all again tomorrow. 🤍🇺🇸
