Thank you @avedaireland @national_b for having us over last week to showcase all things Aveda at your amazing @nblive.ie event.

When creating this look I was inspired by the pink lakes of Australia. Google it… it’s simply stunning. I wanted to encapsulate the contrast between the cool beige toned beaches against the pinky water. I hope you like my interpretation.

For the global cool pink beige tone I used 40g VR/Y + 8g Pastel V and a dot of Pink Pure Pigment

For the lilac/pink I used a watercolour technique dipping the hair in a mixture of iris-azalea.

BA1 Combining Forces with Aveda.

This night showcased everything that we value at BA1. We created an environment of learning, sharing our ideas and brining visions to life.

It’s more than hair. Crafting sculptures and concepts that inspire the hairdressing community, is what our industry is about.

Partnering with Aveda on this Event was the perfect way of showing how they are at the centre of our creative culture. Brining people together and having an open space to grow and explore is at the heart of our values. Am Montag war unser Education Team zu Gast im Aveda Lifestyle Salon in Berlin. ✨ Gemeinsam mit Joe Hill haben wir neue Haarfarben getestet, Ideen ausgetauscht und uns von kreativen Formulierungen inspirieren lassen.

Ein besonderes Dankeschön geht auch an unsere Gäste aus Italien. 🇮🇹 Eure Perspektiven, eure Leidenschaft und euer fachlicher Austausch haben unsere Aveda Family bereichert und diesen Tag zu etwas Besonderem gemacht.

Gloss & abundance with my pal @michaellendon ✨❤️

Big hair has always been my bag- the first salon I ever worked in called Andrew Collinge back in the early 2000s they used to do massive blow drys with what felt like a million brushes in the hair- I still remember being scared for my life taking the brushes out and getting them stuck! Taught be a lot- there’s nothing like a bouncy blow! So glad we are moving back towards expensive looking locks once more!

Must be the Scouser in me — born and bred (for my American friends a scouser is from Liverpool😉) by @thecolourboy
