POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Once an elder is gone, the house breathes differently. Their absence lies heavy in every room, a quiet stillness woven through empty chairs and behind closed doors, a gentle reminder that the warmth and wisdom they gave have left an emptiness no one can replace.

Nature is beautiful, it is magical… it holds cures, secrets, and wonders.
In the quiet of the forest, mushrooms rise and ferns unfurl, reminding us that magic often hides in the smallest corners of nature, waiting patiently to be noticed. These small wonders teach us to wait for the right time and to stay humble because even the smallest things can carry the greatest magic.

From Daddy’s Palette ✨
P.S. We’re a little art team - mom, dad, and our 5yo son behind @thecolourchapter.
We sketch, we paint, and yes, sometimes disagree on colours 😅… but every brushstroke tells a story. Step into The Colour Chapter and read our tiny tales, if you love art with heart. 🎨🧡

Inktober Day 8
Prompt: Stinky

When I was a kid watching Agni Sakshi (Hindi movie), I was genuinely terrified of the Indian actor Nana Patekar. His character was so toxic and scary that I was convinced he was an evil man in real life and I hated him for it.

It took growing up to understand the truth: if an actor can make you hate them that deeply, it’s because their talent is that powerful.

In the artwork, the Rafflesia (corpse flower) survives by pretending to smell like rotten meat so convincingly that flies are completely fooled. Nature does it for survival and legendary actors do it for cinema.

They wear the mask of a villain so well that the entire audience forgets it’s just an act.

A tribute to an unforgettable icon, Nana Patekar, who made darkness look far too real.

Indian Cinema lost a gem today.

Inktober Day 6
Prompt: OGRE

Maybe there is a little ogre inside all of us.
The one that comes out when we're angry, hurt, jealous, frustrated, tired… or simply having a bad day.

Most of the world probably knows the nicer version of us. The patient one. The caring one. The understanding one.

But the people closest to us?
They have probably seen the other side too.

Sometimes, we hurt the people we love in ways we would never hurt anyone else.

Wouldn't it be nice if each of us could identify the ogre within us, understand it and heal?

Or

The real question isn't whether we have an ogre, but whether we choose to let it hurt the people we love.

Inktober Day 5:
Prompt - Smack

Some emotions don’t flow gently.
They rush, crash and overwhelm.

But not every feeling that reaches us
is meant to be held.

Let the right emotions stay.
Let them shape you, soften you,
and bring out what is good in you.
And the feelings that no longer belong,
let them pass without holding on.

Not every emotion needs an answer.
Not every feeling needs to be followed.
Some simply need to be acknowledged
and allowed to fade.

There is wisdom in knowing
what deserves a place within you
and what is better left to flow away.

Not every emotion is meant to become a home.
Some are only meant to pass through.

From learning “A for Apple,” to helping our son draw his first apple, to now creating this one for Inktober… we’ve come a long way. 🍎🖋️

Funny how a simple little apple can hold so many memories. ❤️

Here’s to new prompts, new drawings, and enjoying the journey.
