I’ve been going through old writing on my computer and found a submission packet for The Onion and Clickhole I did from 2016. I didn’t get the job but figured I’d put a few headlines out that I still found funny. The Onion was such a big part of building my sense of humor while growing up. Some of the best memories I have with my dad are going to SoHo Cafe on Hennepin Ave and getting pizza while cracking up at The Onion when it was still a physical paper. I owned a lot of their paperback releases and there are articles I read decades ago I can still remember today. Hopefully you enjoy a few of these, and if you don’t, remember that The Onion didn’t like them either. by @thecomedianjake
