Friday, November 6th, we’re bringing a full evening of live blues to The Common Loon!

Two fantastic guitarists, two distinct styles, and a whole lot of soul.

Al Polito and Ty Curtis take the stage for a night of electric blues, gritty guitar work, and the kind of live music that’s best experienced up close.

Whether you’re a lifelong blues fan or just looking for a great Friday night out, this one’s worth showing up for.

Be a debaser by @thecommonloonpdx

On a Saturday night, when the moon hung askew,
A bird down in Lents had a party to do.
He invited the witches, the weirdos, the dead,
And the things that live rent free in your head.

The ghosts wore their finest, the vampires wore black,
A skeleton called to say, “Save me a rack!”
The witches came cackling, the monsters came late,
And a zombie brought someone he met on a date.

There’d be music and mischief and costumes galore,
And some things best not mentioned outside of the door.
So put on your strangest and howl at the moon.
