This Friday, July 24th, @sol.horizon is headed back to the Sweet Flower Stage with their full Bob Marley Tribute featuring horns, background vocals, and all the songs you know by heart.

Whether you've seen them before or it's your first time, this is one of those shows that's meant to be experienced live.

Advance tickets are just $15 and are available until Thursday at 11:59 PM, and go up to $20 at the door on Friday.

Four years ago, we welcomed you to The Commons for our first World Cup. We cheered on our teams from the front taproom.

Today, we're doing it again. This time, outdoors on our giant 14' LED wall on the Sweet Flower Stage.

What started in 2022 has grown into bigger crowds, unforgettable matches, and a community that has made The Commons a go-to spot to watch soccer in Chico. Thank you for making this tournament one to remember.

We'll be opening the doors at 11 AM with our regular pizza menu, mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Bloody Beers to get you ready for today's match.

The World Cup Final is almost here.

We'll be opening at 11 AM on Sunday, July 19th, so everyone can get settled before kickoff at noon. We'll have our pizza menu, mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Bloody Beers ready to go.

If you're planning to watch with us, we highly recommend arriving early. It's going to be one of our busiest days of the tournament.

A couple of favors to help everyone enjoy the match. If you're watching from the front viewing area, please remain seated whenever possible so everyone behind you has a clear view. And if you've reserved the VIP container, your space will be waiting for you.

It's that time of year again. Best of Chico nominations are officially open!

If you've made memories with us over live music, pizza, soccer matches, trivia, karaoke, family nights, or just a cold beer on the patio, we'd be honored to have your nomination.

This year's nomination round runs through July 31st, and the top five businesses in each category move on to the final round of voting in September.

We're hoping to earn your nomination for:

• Best Place for Family Fun
• Best Family Entertainment
• Best Pizza
• Best Craft Beer Selection
• Best Mixologist

Just a reminder, folks. We won’t be airing tonight’s World Cup Quarterfinal between Argentina and Switzerland on the LED Wall because we’ve got live music on the Sweet Flower Stage again instead.

Live music is back tonight and tomorrow on the Sweet Flower Stage!

Tonight, Sky's Out Thighs Out returns for another can't-miss show from 8-10 PM. If you've never seen them before, imagine five guys in short shorts playing the soundtrack to summer. Doors open at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults, and kids get in free.

Then on Saturday, Slide Tackle takes the stage from 7-10 PM. Because we'll have live music, we will not be showing the Argentina vs. Switzerland World Cup match on the Sweet Flower LED Wall, but it will be on the TVs inside.

Another big day of World Cup action is on deck at The Commons!

We'll be showing Brazil vs. Norway at 1 PM, followed by Mexico vs. England at 5 PM. The Mexico match will be broadcast in Spanish.

@mitaquito_grill will be serving starting at 1 PM, an@tomtoms_islandstyle joins us at 5 PM, so both food trucks will be available for the evening match. @dj_rudedawg will be spinning before each game, at halftime, and after the final whistle to keep the energy going all day.

If you're planning to join us, arrive early. Space is limited, and we'll be ID'ing and wristbanding guests at the door to help everything run smoothly.

With a full house expected, we ask everyone to be courteous of those around you so everyone can enjoy the matches.

Heads up! With the World Cup Knockout Rounds in full swing, we're pressing pause on Trivia Night this week so everyone can catch the matches. Trivia Out Loud will be back at it on Thursday, July 16th.

We're also opening early this weekend for the World Cup, with doors opening Friday at 11 AM and Saturday at 10 AM. Grab a seat, catch the matches, and fuel up with our limited brunch menu featuring Chicken & Waffles, Biscuits & Gravy, Breakfast Claws, plus mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Bloody Beers.

Then, once the matches wrap up on Saturday, stick around for Harlan. They'll be bringing live country music to the Sweet Flower Stage from 8–10 PM to help keep your 4th of July celebration going. by @thecommonschico
