There is so much to unpack here with @tonightsconversation but THIS is not godly marriage.

This is not how a godly wife thinks.
This is not how a godly wife reacts to adversity.

The Bible is clear on what God has equipped us to be as wives. This is an assignment with benefits.

Let’s RESET and realign with the Word of God for our marriages together.

I’m a wife AND a mom. It feels like this post partum season is lasting longer than normal but my memory is coming back in Jesus Name!

In the meantime I’m surrounding myself with Scripture, Worship l and leaning into the relationships that God has provided for wisdom and safety!

I remember a time my husband and I were grieving the loss of someone dear to our heart. She had helped us in our marriage so much and now she was gone.

In our place of vulnerability, the Holy Spirit showed us that we had been working hard separately but not together. Almost like a silent competition of who was going to be better, have better solutions, work the hardest …

And as hard as we working, if it wasn’t together, if it wasn’t as a team it would continue to amount to nothing. Everything is better when you do it together.

Don’t believe the lie that the two can remain two. The two shall become one. It’s a process that requires intentionality, sacrifice and humility.

Let me start by saying I’m Jamaican and Hur has been pronounced ‘er’ since the beginning of time. 😜

Now that I’ve put that to rest, we were never meant to do be in wifehood alone. Two is always better than one.

Don’t wait until catastrophe hits to welcome mature wise wives fighting for covenant into your circle.

Don’t wait until your near divorce to call your Aaron and Hur!

Don’t let pride convince you the you’re protecting yourself.

May God open your eyes to see who He has placed around you to be on the mountaintops of marriage with you.

May the Lord replace paranoia with keen discernment.

Don’t Agree with what you see. Agree with what God said.

Something I’ve learned on this marriage journey is to stand up to everything outside of Gods will for my husband including character traits.

One of the hardest things to do is lot selfish behavior in the face and. I reject and disagree that this is who you are and I will not accept it.

But once you get over it being hard, you’ll access the HEALING!

AGREEMENT is powerful!
