3/31/2021 - 3/14/2026 🕊️

Barley, the goodest boy, my shadow & my heart.

Since the day that I brought Barley home from the airport, he truly filled our lives with so much joy - he was constantly nipping at everyone’s ankles, dragging his playpen (sometimes with poop) across the room w his strong little legs & stealing everyone’s socks/slippers. You could immediately tell he was going to grow up with a big personality.

Barley enjoyed the simplest things in life - endless rounds of fetch, running freely through grass fields, and just simply being outside where we were. He was a foodie, just like his pawrents. He’d impatiently wait for a bite of anything that we’re eating, and stuck w us like glue in the kitchen hoping something would fall off the counter while we’re cooking.

He’d love his mangoes, his pup cups, and any adventure that meant being together. He was the friendliest pup too - always wanting to stop to say hi to every human/dog passing by. From snowy days in Mammoth to running around at dog beaches/long walks at the parks, he was the happiest pup just being with us.

He was the biggest cuddle bug at home, even tho he’d never want to admit it. He’d sleep in the most awkward positions, and would find comfort under our bed or snuggled up with us in bed.

Bar bar, you filled our lives with so much happiness, laughter and unconditional love. You were our first dog, but you were so much more than that. You were family, our daily companion and the little soul who taught us just how deep the love for a dog can be.

Thank you for choosing us to be your humans for almost 5 years. We thought we’d have more time with you but unfortunately life is so unfair. 😔 Thank you for being the sweetest, most handsome boy. Thank you for providing us with comfort on the worst days. The house already feels a lot quieter without your little pitter patters.

You were our whole world, and we were lucky to be yours. Mama and papa love you forever 🤍🐾 by @thecorgibarley

I turned 1️⃣ year old today! 🎉

Reflecting on everything I’ve accomplished in the past year (how many toys I’ve ripped apart, how many slippers I’ve destroyed, how many wood chips I’ve eaten on walks) 😈

Who else am I gonna see at Corgi Beach Day this Saturday? ⛱
