2025 had been a good one in the world of small weddings at The Cornish Place

Looking back at just some of the photos taken by our wonderful recommended photographers, it’s been such a great year for weddings here. We’ve held the hands of all the couples that come to us to help them select the very best of local suppliers to create the perfect wedding for them. We don’t do packages as each couple marrying here is truly unique, but can recommend the best of the best to help create your vision however simple or elaborate that may be!

A quick whizz around the Barn on changeover day…

So many couples wanting to visit at the moment with us in mind as their wedding venue, but cottages so full that it’s hard to find time for looking inside. A virtual whizz has to be the next best thing!

The Barn was always my favourite cottage , until we built the Dairy Shed…. But then we refurbished the Stables so now I’m confused. I guess it’s like kids, I’m not allowed a favourite!

I think there’s a week still available int he Barn in the Summer hols if you fancy it… but stays are going quick at the moment, so no promises!

The Dairy is the final in our ‘whizz around the cottage’ series. We built this in 2022 and as it was purpose built in many ways it’s the most practical of our cottages - I would happily move in there tomorrow! Stunning views across unspoilt countryside from its huge deck - no better place for some R&R!
(Seen here set up for. 3 yr old in the bunk room so with ladder guard in place!
There is a soundproofed interconnecting door to the Shed, which we can unlock to create The Dairy Shed - clever eh?! by @thecornishplace

I don’t think people understand how relaxing self catering in Cornwall can be, when it includes so much more than a ‘normal’ holiday cottage.

No pain, no gain!

I would categorically say that a long car or train journey is worth it - many would say that is the whole point of Cornwall, that it would just not be the same if it was quick to travel to.

The slower pace of life, fresh local produce, stunning beaches, cosy luxury cottages and that magical undefinable quality that people get addicted to.

We’re a female led business and most of our recommended suppliers are also female led like @thecerenitychef

We showcase local and home grown Cornish produce at our pop up feasts.

And support an incredible local charity @kehelland.trust with work experience opportunities.

We’ve planted over 2000 trees and hedging plants here with the help of our guests.

I have wanted to stay at @thecornishplace for some time now. Seeing images on Instagram of Andi & Adam’s beautiful home had me earning for a coastal escape. But what it didn’t prepare me for was just how generous and comfortable the place is.

We arrived on a Sunday all travel weary from hours in the M5, and was given a warm welcome. The wood fired hot tub already fired up and ready to go. And a promise of hand made pizza at 6.30.
No that’s a welcome!

Pizza was a make yourself affair but fired in their @ooni.uk pizza oven. With local drinks poured from the bar by Adam.

The Cornish Place host weddings and there was an elopement whilst we were there. The beautiful glasshouse was dressed in flowers and candles, whilst the nearby barn held the ceremony.

We spent our days in Falmouth, fishing off the rocks at Pendennis castle. Followed by drinks @beachhousefalmouth.

I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
