Hey, I'm Mysun Kidd. I'm a business consultant for one of the Big 4 Accounting firms. I want to help, everyone to motivate, learn and grow.

This page is to talk about my professional journey and also educate people on their business or personal finance. As a black man, there are not many people that look like us in this field and I want to help break that reality.

This is a place to do 3 things:

1)Motivation: Motivation is the only way you will have the ability to tackle your goals.
2)Learning: Learning is the only way you know how to achieve your goals
3)Growing: Growing is the process of doing the first two objectives. This is when you see the progress and you continue the cycle of being a better you!!!

Now that this journey into becoming a better businessperson/owner.

Saw this quote and wanted to share it with you all.

My initial thought is that being a good person in corporate life is more important than just being good at your job.

At the end of the day, you need to be confident and competent in your work. However, sometimes it’s even more valuable to be friendly—say hi to your coworkers, ask about their day, and build genuine connections. Above all, remember to be respectful, kind, and always mindful of the environment around you.

I saw this quote today and it resonated with me. It’s a lot of luck when it comes to being great but also it’s a lot of skill as well. You have go out there and catch the opportunities. I’m gonna try my best to go out there everyday and put my best foot forward by @thecorporatekidd

I learned a lot from church today and I wanted to share. Always lead with forgiveness.

How can this relate to business…? Great business people forgive people and live life in positivity. by @thecorporatekidd

Me and my fiancé is trying to save for a car and our wedding. I think just putting away $40 a day in an HYSA will let us get to our goals soon. by @thecorporatekidd

This quote is something I thrive for everyday. Some times focusing success is good but focusing what makes you happy is.

I heard an amazing quote one day and it went like this:

"If you don’t have it, you never really wanted it"

Basically it means that everything you want you work 10x harder to get it so if you don’t have it that means you didn’t work hard enough! by @thecorporatekidd
