Prompt 1: New Moon 🌙

A new moon is all about fresh starts, so for our first prompt we want you to try something you’ve never made before. Any craft counts, as long as it’s new to you. Pick up a watercolor brush for the first time, cast on your first knitted row, throw your first pot, or finally open that kit you’ve been eyeing. It can come from a Crafter kit, one of our digital classes, or the supplies you already have at home.

To enter, post your make with #craftober2026 and tag @thecraftersbox, or enter through the link in our bio, by Sunday, Oct 18.

🧡 Our favorite make from this prompt wins a free kit
🧡 Enter 2 of the 3 prompts for a chance at 3 months on us

It’s launch day🎃
Meet the Wool Felted Pumpkins Workshop with fiber artist @begoodnatured !

Discover the soothing art of needle felting as you sculpt a trio of charming pumpkins from soft Merino wool roving. Dani walks you through every step, from shaping the fibers to felting each pumpkin into its own size and silhouette. Your kit includes everything you need, so you can settle in and craft a cozy fall display for your home.

Make it your own: swap the Classic Autumn Colorway for the whimsical Fairytale Colorway in mint, coral, and cream, or swap for Dani’s Wool Felted Ornaments Workshop and get a head start on the holidays🎄

Want a fuller pumpkin patch? Add on a materials kit to felt three more pumpkins in Classic Autumn, Fairytale, or Antique.
