NCBA Miss Anguilla 2024 Recap,Thankyou. This experience has taught me so many valuable lessons about myself that I plan to continue building. Whilst I may add, that at the beginning of this trying yet awarding journey, I wanted to gain recognition and create spaces for my platform surrounding the Arts and its counterparts. Instead, I found a path brimming with new friendships, incredible personal growth and development, A guide to poise and etiquette, Overall confidence in my body and speech and many more that highlights the transformative resilience and strength of the woman I am today. I would like to thank everyone who had a part to play in my preparation because of you, I was able to attain almost perfection on Tuesday, August 6th, 2024. Despite my dyslexia I was able to capture Best Introduction Speech and Best Onstage interview, a segment that shook me to the core. To my runway coaches and designers whose meticulous eye and creativity assisted in my garments and signature walk style that led me to receive the Best Swimsuit and Evening Gown presentation title, even after sustaining an injury on my foot earlier in the year. Through it all it shows to the dedication and support of a strong team whose commitment to excellence ensured that I will not falter.To you Anguilla, it is true that perfection does not exist but I am perfectly confident that I made myself and all who supported me proud and despite any challenges I am ready to walk into a new purpose and stand tall, enlightened to continue sharing the importance of crest conversations that will better our Beautiful Anguilla and the sustainability of our Artistic identity. Officially I am your 1st runner up, but Evidently I am a winner, wearing my passion proudly on my heart, and the platform to inspire, educate and share this beautiful experience has been nothing short of profound.Eternally thankful- and to my pageant sisters, let’s continue being Strong Women with immense Beauty and a purpose defying the norms. by @thecrazyyahlike
