press shots but make them personal PLEASE.
each of these shoots were miles different from the other but they’re all dj’s who reside in a similar sound.

so how do you set yourself apart from the rest?
bring out your personality and draw references from outside of your industry!

I don’t just turn up on the day and capture what the client presents to me, but work collaboratively prior to shoot day - through careful planning, moodboards and lists!

I always want you to get out more than you could’ve expected.
Thank you to each of these talented individuals for trusting me to capture their light.

why I rebranded - founder q&a a monthly series of me yapping about my journey of freelancing so far.
it’s going to be honest and unfiltered - hence the unfiltered skin and no make up.

hope this helps someone because I really could’ve done with an honest bit of guidance a year ago.

a bit about me:

name: cydnee holder
age: 30 (as of 23/04/25)
occupation: founder of the create kitchen
location: south east london
time in role: full-time since may 2024
fun fact: I went to greek school for 7 years as a child and I cannot speak greek
party trick: double jointed elbows
favourite piece of kit: a random y2k unbranded camera I found on ebay for £10
biggest hurdle so far: losing a big client in my first month of freelancing
highlight so far: working with a variety of people based off of word + mouth recommendations
favourite colour: butter yellow / any shade of green
pet peeve: equating a piece of work being made quickly with it being easy.

Hey I’m Cydnee 🙋🏻‍♀️
It’s true - a month in with no warning my biggest client *poof* 💨 disappeared.
It threw me, I took it personally at first and then changed my perspective. Because I know so deeply this is what I’m supposed to be doing.
My biggest takeaway was ‘your failure is measured by the speed of your recovery’ - I had one dry month and then picked back up ❤️‍🩹

Welcome to The Create Kitchen!

Finally an official post to document the rebrand of Cydnee Creates.
Still providing the same quality creative services, I’ve just upgraded the branding part.
This also means I have been prepping a content schedule to actually start posting the work rather than just doing it.

Thank you for all of the support so far!

Always Inside’s Camden Pop-Up last month - event round up by us 📹

Hosting a range of DJ’s from @alwaysinsidegroup community. Exclusive merch for sale. A gorgeous day for networking with likeminded creatives.

Hope to see many more wholesome irl community powered events like this from @alwaysinsidegroup in the future.

We can’t wait to meet you little one.
You’re already so loved and cared for.
13/07/24 we celebrated your Mummy growing you, finding out you were a little girl and your parents taking on their new titles with all the support of their family and friends.
We’ve heard it takes a village and I think your Mum and Dad united two villages on Saturday (there’s a lot of people that love you little one). You’ll never be short of Aunties and Uncles that’s for sure.
Can’t wait to show you this video one day (and all the others I’ll make to document your life).
We love you babygirl.
See you soon 👶🏾💕🎀🌸
