Just a friendly reminder… We absolutely LOVE to celebrate with you! We have hosted over 200 birthday parties and private events over the last 5 years.

At the same time, Open Studio is not the time for impromptu birthday parties.

Open Studio is a public, drop-in crafting time. We want everyone to have THE BEST time creating with us, and when our guests throw a de facto party during those times, your guests and other guests get split attention from our staff, and it’s not the best experience we can provide.

If you want to drop in on your special day or meet up with friends, that is awesome! We just can’t guarantee or reserve seats for you outside of a private event.

We would, however, absolutely love to try to get you on our schedule for a private session in the studio! Thank you for your understanding! by @thecreatespacedeland

It’s almost July and we’ve been having so much fun at camps and creating with you at Open Studio every afternoon that we are a 🤏🏻 tiny bit behind on getting the 3rd quarter class calendar 📆 out. A little island flair has arrived in downtown DeLand ☀️⛱️

Throughout July, downtown businesses will be celebrating Tropical Nights, and we’ve joined the fun with a tropical window makeover by @thecreatespacedeland

Take a stroll through downtown and check out all the painted windows while you’re out exploring. We’ll be extending our Friday night hours until 7:00 PM on Friday nights, making it the perfect time to enjoy an evening downtown.

The big Tropical Nights celebration takes place on July 17, featuring music, activities, and the announcement of a cruise giveaway winner. We hope to see you there!
