This work looks alive. Like it’s breathing, shifting, moving with the light. It’s not paint. It’s thousands of hand painted paper pieces, placed one by one, sometimes over four months. Meet @gregorbecker.studio , a true pioneer of a technique that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Textile studio you need on your radar: @jessiedesalis 🌿

Run by cousins Jessie De Salis and Alice Jacoby out of a converted cattle barn in Somerset, England. Everything is screen printed by hand in small batches, using home made plant based dyes and organic linen sourced from Europe.

Fabrics, blankets, tablecloths, pillows, curtains, and some seriously fabulous lampshades. Every design pulls from the nature right outside their studio door.

They also run workshops if you want to learn to screen print with them in person. Worth the trip to Somerset alone.

@huyuehua.art is one of the most talented textile artists working today.

She builds large scale works from silk, cotton, and thread, and every fold, stitch, and layer is placed by hand with incredible patience and precision. Her range is just as impressive. She can move from soft, quiet pieces to bold, fiery ones and never lose her voice along the way.

@alberto_twose is an architect in Barcelona, and you can see it in how he builds. Every curve has structure behind it, even when it looks effortless. Octopuses in red and cobalt blue. Goldfish mid-swim. A crab balanced on a single thin rod. All bent, soldered, and painted by hand.

Meet Caroline Strecker, the creative force behind @ragofcolts in Somerset, England.

She didn’t just learn leatherwork, she built an entire world around it. Old saddles, harness straps, and army canvas become something no one else is making, using techniques she’s shaped into her own over the years. Her creativity is on another level.

Meet Johanne Birkeland, the Norwegian ceramic artist behind @jossolini

Every lamp, candlestick holder, vase, and sconce is shaped, painted, and fired entirely by hand in her studio in Norway. No two pieces come out the same because she never chases a perfect form. She lets the clay guide her, using her own hands to leave intentional dents and curves while it’s still soft, catching each piece right at the edge of collapse.

The result is work that feels alive. Bold stripes, playful polka dots, and shapes that twist and curl like they’re mid motion. It’s playful without ever feeling cheap, elegant without ever feeling stiff.

This is the kind of artistry that doesn’t just fill a room. It changes the mood of the whole space.
