We're starting a farmstand!

We're starting with a few simple offerings and items and we'll be adding to our stock as the seasons continue and grow.

Pre-orders will be taken weekly with all orders due by Friday at 9am.

Currently we're only offering pick up at the farm, but we'll be adding a local Newton pickup and possibly delivery into Wichita.

Stay tuned this week as we share about oir different products and baked goods. We can't wait to share them with you!

Edited: here's the explanation that didn't post for whatever reason with the picture. For everyone who was wondering what the heck.....

Yesterday was supposed to be a big announcement from us. I was excited. I was confident.

And then I laid in bed that night thinking through every reason why my idea was a bad one. Then throughout the day, I repeatedly told myself to post it. Share it. Announce it and just figure it out.

Then the day passed and I didn't.

It's easy, especially with social media where we tend to show the shinier sides of life, to look at others and their growing endeavors and think, "they've got it all figured out."

But as we continue to build what we hope to create here, a place for joy, community, to rest and be refreshed, there's zero room for comparison, because in order to look around and see what others are doing, we have to still our hands in our own work, and that accomplishes nothing.

So, yes, I chickened out this week, but tomorrow I'm so excited (terrified) to share our latest addition to The Croft. by @thecroftks

Everything is figuroutable.

That has been our motto since I texted my husband last June and said, "just a heads up, I'm posting on social media today that we're opening up the property for photographers."

What's followed has been the most terrifying, amazing journey of trying new things, seeing what works, and a lot of late nights. We've been supported by some incredible people and built relationships we never imagined we'd get to have. It's been an amazing process, and we're just getting started.

Next stop, windows!!!!! by @thecroftks

No filter. Just the glow on my bedroom wall that told me it was going to be a spectacular sunrise.

Happy Sunday everyone! by @thecroftks

A few moments from our Saturday evening.
It’s the last week of October and we have Zinnias blooming! Windows are getting cleaned while we cut where they’ll be placed. (And by we, I mean my husband) ✊. Are you a photographer looking for a place to offer clients, a family searching for a location to update pictures, or someone looking to host an event in 2027, we’d love to have you out for a tour.
Treats and refreshments are always ready and waiting!

Also, speaking of treats, keep an eye out for an exciting announcement this next week! by @thecroftks

We took a walk across the property tonight to dream about future projects. Choosing spaces for our creekside cabins and campsites, wedding spaces in the woods, treehouses and fairy gardens. We’re so excited to see what this place grows into and who we get to share it with! by @thecroftks

It was a perfect evening for family pictures on at The Croft. I will never not be grateful for every person and photographer that visits these acres. Truly living our best dreams!
Fall is finally arriving at the farm. Come out to update your family portraits or prep for holiday cards! by @thecroftks
