Therapy and Other Drugs goes to a book fair! 📚

I had so much fun at the @burlingtonlibraryma local author festival yesterday! I was able to meet dozens of local authors and enjoyed chatting with those walking through. Thank you to my friends & family who came to see me. I have the best support system ever ♥️

❔Question of the day: Have you ever been to a book fair/festival?

I’m forever chasing the high of the scholastic book fair! This sure did come close to that feeling.

I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead. Happy Monday & happy reading 📖

My books are here 😭📚

I cannot even begin to explain all of the emotions I feel right now. I’ve been anxiously waiting to see and hold my books since the second I started writing it.

Publishing a book has always been a dream of mine. Having a tangible copy of my book is absolutely surreal. I have put my heart and soul into this. Seeing my words in a published book will never get old.

Tonight, I will be celebrating this accomplishment with my closest family and friends. I cannot wait to show them my book for the first time 🥹

❔Question of the day: Are you ready to get your hands on Therapy and Other Drugs? 😉

I hope everyone has a beautiful weekend! Happy reading 📖

October book club read 📚

The stolen Mercedes emerges from the pre-dawn fog and plows through a crowd of men and women in line for a job fair in a distressed American city. Then the lone driver backs up, charges again, and speeds off, leaving eight dead and more wounded. The case goes unsolved and ex-cop Bill Hodges is out of hope when he gets a letter from a man who loved the feel of death under the Mercedes’s wheels... Brady Hartsfield wants that rush again, but this time he’s going big, with an attack that would take down thousands-unless Hodges and two new unusual allies he picks up along the way can throw a wrench in Hartsfield’s diabolical plans.

I LOVED this book!! I had so much fun with this story and could not put it down. I started reading it in the airport and finished it on the plane. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

❔Question of the day: Have you read any Stephen King books?

We are big fans of @stephenking in this household! Mr. Mercedes is definitely one of my top reads by him!

We are almost to the weekend, friends! Happy Thursday & happy reading 📖

Organized chaos 📚

I had the best time visiting bookstores in Seattle over the long weekend. @bookslikeamotherfucker is one of my favorite shops. Every time I wander in I always find something good! I was able to snag the newest @fmcfaddenauthor book, The Witch! Cannot wait to start it this week.

❔Question of the day: Do you enjoy visiting bookstores on your travels?

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Happy Tuesday & happy reading 📖

Why run from a haunted house when you can stay and ignore the ghosts? 👻

Margaret is determined to stay in her dream house, even after it becomes a haunted nightmare. The house is filled with ghosts and walls that bleed every September. She learns to live with these quirks, until her husband abruptly leaves. Their daughter decides to pay a visit to inspect what is happening. Can the house keep their secrets?

I wanted to love this book but it fell flat for me. I was expecting a scary novel, but it was more silly than scary. Overall, not my favorite. I do love the cover though!

❔Question of the day: Are you a fan of haunted houses?

I love all things spooky, including all the fun haunting things! Send the ghosts my way please.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Happy Wednesday & happy reading 📖

September, you were a good one 🍂

This month flew by. I cannot believe October is tomorrow. I’m not ready for how fast the year is going. I had a lovely month of September: going to VT, spending time with family and friends, and reading outside!

❔Question of the day: What are you looking forward to over the final few months of the year?

I’m excited for some travels and seeing some friends who live a bit further away! It’s going to be a great Q4!

I hope everyone has a lovely day. Happy Wednesday and happy reading 📖

A killer wedding 🔪💒

It is a beautiful day for a wedding, but Willa is not excited. She is happy for her best friends getting married, but she has to see her ex-fiancé who has brought a date. Everything feels off, but she shrugs the feeling aside when she connects with the groom’s best friend. Rather quickly they are interrupted by a masked killer. Willa tries to survive the night but wakes up and finds the day has started over again. Willa is stuck in a time loop, reliving this horrifying day over and over again. The race to stop this loop is on.

I really enjoyed this book! I do feel there were a bit too many loops, but I understand why it went on as long as it did. The ending wasn’t as strong as I hoped for, but I enjoyed the lessons learned. If you’re looking for a spooky, fun read, this is for you! 4/5 ⭐️

❔Question of the day: Do you enjoy weddings?

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Happy Thursday & happy reading 📖

September book club read 📚

Jill and Ted are obsessed with their New York brownstone. It is their pride and joy. When Ted’s inheritance runs out and he makes a bad investment, they panic. Their beloved home and rich lifestyle is at risk. The death of one wealthy family member-from whom they stand to inherit millions-could solve all their problems. Together, they will get away with murder.

This was a fast paced novel that kept me on my toes, but it fell flat. I usually love this author’s books so I was a bit disappointed. I was waiting for a big twist or more mystery, and it never came. Overall, I enjoyed this, but didn’t love it. 3/5 ⭐️

❔Question of the day: Do you think you could get away with murder?

I want to believe I could, but I would definitely get caught. 😅

We are almost to the weekend, folks! Happy Thursday & happy reading 📖
