Good day, everyone. My name is Opasina Damilare Samuel.

This is not my first attempt at writing. In fact, I have authored several books in the past that were shared only with a few close friends and never reached a wider audience. The gift of writing was one I had nearly buried years ago, yet I never stopped writing poetry.

On this particular evening, while at my mother’s shop, I was struck by a flashback of experiences I had lived through ,personal denials, the denials of friends, and the broader denials within government , society and marriages. Those reflections gave me deep insight, and that was the moment I picked up my pen again.
