Last week was nothing short of amazing! I had the honour of speaking at the Africa Workforce Summit, sharing the stage with some of the brightest minds in Nigeria’s digital space. We were all united by one message: mental health matters in the workplace.

It was such a joy reconnecting with old friends, making new acquaintances, and having meaningful conversations with people who genuinely care about the future of work in Nigeria.

What stood out for me the most was seeing how far we’ve come. Mental health is no longer that hush-hush topic. It’s now a serious conversation in boardrooms, among founders, CEOs and team leads. Many of them are already taking steps to support their employees better and that gives me hope.

Yesterday’s visit to Unilag’s Faculty of Arts, where I spent time with psychology students, was truly inspiring. Being around those bright minds like this and impacting them is part of what drove me to start this journey in the first place. As I look back on the years, all I see is immense growth. On this special birthday, I embrace a heart of gratitude for friends, family, and myself. I reflect on the lives that have been touched, the grounds that have been broken, and the heights that have been scaled, and I’m truly grateful for the life I’ve lived so far.

Thank you @theafolayan for introducing me to Big Dee. She is nothing short of phenomenal: indeed a force to recon with.

You will think she's just a therapist untill you meet the parenting part of her.😉

Raph called her a mother in Israel and that is who she is.

We are happy to have hosted her last week on P&T Show.

@dedoyinajayi is a UK based psychotherapist with a specialty in Emotional Health.

She is a certified Neuro-
linguistic practitioner and holds a masters degree in Counselling Psychology.

She has a thriving therapy
practice vested into both individual and couple therapy
sessions.

She is the co-founder of MyTherapistNg, a teletherapy health-tech start up geared towards simplifying the
process of accessing mental health care.

Dedoyin specialises in helping individuals with suicide ideations, depression, childhood trauma,
existential crises and personality disorders.

She also functions in the role of a marital and relationship
coach. She is a voice of mental health on Twitter and is popular for sensitising people about their
emotional well-being.
