I can’t wait to grow old. To forever “growing up”. For the stories that rest in my bones and get to repeat over and over again to the kind nurse who gets to listen.

I had so many friends reach out to me when she turned one and reminded me of how much I needed to celebrate the past year of growth and change. It was the kindest reminder and I don’t think I celebrate growth enough.

Front porches feel like a first glance into your home and I love setting the tone. I am no designer, but I do love walking around the store and romanticizing all the ways I can bring the season into my home. I am still working on a home decor process that feels stylish and saves money, so this is what I did this year to make it happen…
🍂🏡🥰💕

1. Show up at the store and find a common color scheme
2. I love having florals around the door for every season so that’s always my go to!
3. Coordinate a matching rug (I like to upsize the floor mat because it makes it feel fancy)
4. Have a mix of fake and real plants (if you’re bad at keeping plants alive but also on a budget, this one’s for you 😉)
5. Mix & match pumpkins at your local grocery store! I’ve never decorated with pumpkins before but I love how easy they are and how they tie everything together!
6. Add height where you can! Whether you get different sized pots or use hay bales, the different heights make the space feel so inviting & natural.
6. Finally, build a seasonal stash of wreaths that you love! I use to buy new ones every year but that can add up so we just pulled this one from the attic :)
