🎶 I haven't stopped thinking about this beat.

This is Surmedani - one beautiful song from a mix I created. I performed this as part of a solo dance at a Sangeet celebrating our high school friends' wedding weekend back in May.

I remixed songs to celebrate the west coast, cultural vibes, love, and the joy of the weekend.

But of all the music in the set, this is the one that keeps replaying in my mind.

I usually gravitate toward folk rhythms, but this one feels like it still has more to say - with different choreography perhaps?

Sometimes a creative piece isn't the finish line.

It's the beginning of your next idea.

💃🏾 Throwback to October when I danced to the hit bhangra song - Coolin' by Chani Nattan & Jazzy B - choreographed by @learnbhangranow !

My last dance workout jam just for fun before diving into wedding prep mode.

💍 With my niece’s big day in April, it’s time to conduct songs, lyrics and dance research, plan the song sequence, edit the music, choreograph the dance and perfect the moves.

It's been a while.

Wish me luck.

💖 Clay and Mirror on the Wall: Find Your Light Within It All

🎉 Today marks the official debut of our first solo art show, curated by @womenunited_art_movement, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all!

🪷 This collection is a celebration of reflection, growth, and transformation - drawing inspiration from ancient South Asian arts like Mehndi (henna) and Lippan Kaam (clay and mirror artwork).

💪🏾 Each mixed media art on canvas tells a story of resilience, beauty, and the journey of discovering light within the shadows.

🖼️ The show runs from October 22nd to November 4th, and all pieces are available to explore.

👀 I need you to see this!

"In Bloom" is a new online exhibition on Artsy featuring 19 artists from the Create! Collective - and my painting "Infinite Abundance" is in it.

😱 My first piece ever listed on @artsy . A platform that, until now, I could only reach through gallery representation.

The theme isn't just about flowers (though there are flowers). It's about everything that opens - grief finding its way to renewal, color as an act of bravery, family histories woven into canvas, the garden, the night sky, the inner self.

🌸 Nineteen artists, nineteen definitions of what it means to bloom. Together it becomes something expansive and quietly moving.

And all of it is available for purchase.

🔆 Here's what I genuinely believe: original art isn't a luxury. It's the thing that makes your space feel like *yours*.

An original is someone's hours, their attention, their whole inner world made physical. It changes how a room feels. It changes how *you* feel in it.

Unlike a print, an original is one of one - you're not just acquiring something beautiful, you're becoming part of its and her - story.

♥️ This one deserved more than a circle.

There's a reason galleries mark a sold painting the way they do.

🔴 A circle is whole. Complete. A beginning that finds its end - and begins again. Sacred, even.

💌 It's why I call my newsletter community "The Inner Circle". It's for the people who come back, who stay close, who are always first to know

🔆 It's why art finding its forever home feels like a cycle completing itself.

But a circle doesn't capture what goes into an original. The hours. The soul. The piece of my heart poured into every brushstroke.

♥️ For that - you need a heart.

🙌🏽 "Leaf Me in Golden Stillness" has found its home with a returning collector - someone who already knows what it means to live with my work and wanted even more of that feeling.

That kind of moment doesn't get a circle.

It gets a heart.

Some artwork doesn't just decorate a space.

It becomes an everlasting reminder.

My sister mentioned this painting recently, and I went digging through old photo folders to find it.

She collected "Eyes of the Tiger" back in 2023 as soon as I completed it.

Looking at it again, I remembered the photo I used for inspiration, but I skipped my usual sketch and went straight in with paint.

No overthinking.
Just instinct.

Maybe that's why this tiger still speaks to me.

It embodies something many of us forget:

You don't always need the entire path to be clear before taking the first step.

Sometimes curiosity knows the way.

That's the kind of meaningful art I offer.

This is oddly satisfying 😌

Peeling back the tape and finally seeing a cleaner line.

One of the things I love most about painting is that progress isn't always made with a brush. Sometimes it's the prep. The waiting. The tiny adjustments no one notices.

This little detail is part of "At the Edge" - one of four paintings in my upcoming Poolside Echoes series.

The series explores what remains after a moment has passed: reflections, personal objects, wet footprints, and the traces we leave behind.

🙂‍↕️ The figure may be gone, but the evidence remains.
