“And While We Were All Stuck Indoors, Nature Thrived And Took Over”

Acrylic on wood panel
By Duane Hosein (@thedhbrigade )

Duane Hosein is a perpetually-caffeinated visual artist and illustrator. The majority of his childhood was spent either hiding behind the pages of a book or drawing at the breakfast table. Such introversive pursuits, left him with a burning desire to draw a world far more interesting than our own. His work reflects a strong connection to nature and an almost unhealthy obsession to detail.

To view more of his work, visit Outside:IN - our current art exhibition here at Brooklyn Art Haus! On display from now til Sept 27th✨

I have been cleaning out the cobwebs. They are thicker than I thought and sketching had been quite a task. Here is something recent, untitled and unfinished(so it shall remain). #art #abstractart #artist #artistoninstagram #artistofinstagram #creepy #draw #drawing #drawmore #illustration #illustrator #ink #sketch #surreal #silly #duanehosein by @thedhbrigade

Attempting the #octoberchrysalis challenge by @bloodmilk and @cchelseawwolfe, in hopes of breaking through my current creative block. Starting a few days late, but hoping to catch up.

Here is the first prompt.
