THAT’S A WRAP ON OUR JANUARY RESIDENCY @casbahsandiego ! This is biggest shit we’ve gotten to do so far so what better way to close out our last show by doing something about what’s happening outside!!
We sent 100% of our ticket proceeds to the @aclu_nationwide and we hope you keep it going however you can!!!

So much of songwriting is vulnerability, which means it’s a hell of a lot easier when you do it with your friends.

Our song Patty Cake (off The Dimes: Live Session) is a perfect example of the magic that can happen when you’re not afraid to be a liiiittle ✨stupid✨ together

Toy piano ✅ Played in a church ✅ Acoustic?! punk?? ✅

@songwritersanctuary_sd pride show was a blast on Friday! While we were Tinier Dimes for this one (missed you Erin and Jay), everyone who came out and made dolphin noises for us 🐬 made this one to remember. Grateful to play in one of the most supportive music spaces in San Diego!

STILL recovering from the experience of getting to hear @daddy.theband and @thesaintmisty perform, both with grand piano backing and voices to the RAFTERS. And we got @rachel.e.hall on piano too, wow?? 😍

Shoutout to our own @erin_on_bass , who made the incredible lyric zines - we can now say we crushed the challenge of pulling off a goofy anti-fascist punk set in a beautiful church 😤

One more huge shoutout goes to @annelaflores_music who agreed to PREMIERE some of her own originals for us at the last minute (badass alert🚨)! Go listen to Annela!

Come out early (6pm) for the Pre-show Pantry Jam ft @thejulianforest busking on the sidewalk stage - bring some items to stuff the community pantry/fridge/closet if you can. First 30 attendees receive a free limited edition lyric zine!

Songwriter Sanctuary Pride Edition is going down this Friday at @nhunited. Our Pre Show Pantry Jam artist @thejulianforest will be starting things off at 6pm with an acoustic set on the sidewalk stage (don’t forget to bring some donations for the community fridge/pantry/closet). Doors open at 6:30 for a 7pm feature show with original music in the round by @daddy.theband , @thesaintmisty , and @thedimesofficial. The one and only @hellamariela will be our host! The show is presented in collaboration with @raspberrymanagement!

Creating The Worm was a Dimes family affair. Here’s how we did it! Featuring: HVAC flexible hosing duct, fabric, childhood sheets, poly-fil, cardboard, buckles, dowels, good old thread, gorilla tape, *so* many zip ties, and ❤️‍🔥LOVE❤️‍🔥
