The 4th Annual Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic 🐎 Sunday, April 12, 2026 ~ New Date • New Location ~ Chastain Park

POSTS STORIES REELS

It is with immense pride that I announce this year’s Dinner at Dusk Scholarship recipient, Janiya Outlaw 🎓✨

Janiya was originally selected to receive our $2,500 scholarship for a graduating senior from Carver Early College. But today, I’m even more excited to announce that her award has been upgraded to a four-year Dinner at Dusk Scholarship, providing an allowance throughout her college journey.

And it happened because of The Power of One.

Dr. Christy Rogers is one of the incredible women who has sat at the Dinner at Dusk table. Sometimes simply being adjacent to someone causes them to think about you a little longer. They hear your story, ask another question, dig a little deeper and one connection can change the trajectory of someone’s life.

That is The Power of One.

For me, though, this scholarship is about more than helping Anaya get to college. I want to help her stay in college.

Every year we celebrate move-in days and first-day pictures, but we don’t always see the students who arrive on campus only to discover that getting there was just the first hurdle. Some have already had to come home and it takes tremendous strength to do that.

Dinner at Dusk is a small organization, and every dollar counts. We raised and received pledges of more than $30,000 at this year’s Polo Classic, but pledged dollars are not dollars in the bank and some commitments have yet to be honored. When we make a commitment to a student, I want to know we can keep it.

Because we exceeded our goal, I decided we could do more for Janiya than one year.

We could invest in four. ❤️

Janiya, your dreams are your

Grateful to be featured in the June 2026 issue of Modern Luxury’s @theatlantan @modernluxuryatlanta

My mother and I were honored by @majasly at the Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic @thedinneratdusk alongside some incredible changemakers and community leaders. Thankful for the recognition and proud to be in rooms where purpose and impact are celebrated! by @thedinneratdusk

Nothing but praise reports all around today, but this text from Gabby was such a reminder that my steps have always been ordered. Nothing that happens is a mistake. It may not feel like it in the moment, but every storm eventually runs out of rain and there’s a beautiful rainbow waiting on the other side. 🌈

I thank my younger self for so many things, but choosing education as the vehicle to change the trajectory of my life was truly defining. So my heart is full knowing that betting on Gabby was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

She’s heading into a summer fellowship and research program and just wrapped up her junior year with all A’s and one B. I’m beyond proud of this young lady. Supporting young people that want something more for themselves will forever be one of the most rewarding things I’ll ever do. ❤️ #PowerofOne @woahhiitsgabba by @thedinneratdusk

Meet our scholar @woahhiitsgabba

Today, she’s wrapping up finals, and will be headed to Baltimore for a summer research opportunity, and participating in an AI Fellowship program. And it reminds me exactly why this work matters. #GoGabby

If she hadn’t been in that pool of applicants for #ryanfalconerscholarship our paths would’ve never crossed.

Because of the generosity of everyone who gave during our live raise at this year’s Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic, we’re able to renew Gabby’s scholarship and award another scholarship to a graduating senior attending an HBCU for the Class of 2026.

Instead of creating another separate process, I’m selecting from a larger pool of already-qualified applicants through Michelle’s Foundation because our missions are aligned and through collaboration I feel impact is maximized. In my day to day work I see how things take longer through redundancy and that’s not my ministry.

There’s more than one way to make a difference.

My goal has never been optics. My goal is access. I simply don’t want this next generation missing opportunities because of money.

The wrap up… sometimes impact looks like building from scratch and sometimes it looks like the Power on One. Michelle was Gabby’s, Power of One. That’s one introduction. And I know that she will be that change maker for her generation to show them, that together we can get there faster. by @thedinneratdusk

The wait is over… and this one means a little more. 🤍✨

We are officially opening our first scholarship application for the Class of 2026, exclusively for APS students attending Carver Early College.

As we close out Financial Literacy Month, I can’t think of a more powerful reminder of what’s possible than this year’s Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic. 🤍✨

What started as a beautiful day on the lawn turned into something so much bigger… a room full of purpose, generosity, and a shared commitment to ownership, education, and legacy. Because this isn’t just an event—it’s a movement to bridge the wealth gap and change what’s possible for the next generation.

A heartfelt thank you to our phenomenal honorees who didn’t just show up, but showed OUT in their impact and generosity:
✨ Delphine Bryant
✨ Eddie Benoit
✨ Madam Clerk Che Alexander
✨ Mayor Carmalitha Gumbs
✨ Deanna Hamilton
✨ Chantel Harris
✨ Ladies Who Golf (Keyeriah Miles & Founder)

Because of you, we didn’t just meet our goal… we exceeded it. And that means more scholarships, more resources, and more doors opened.

But let me be clear… we’re just getting started.

This summer, we’re bringing the conversation from the polo field to the table with our Invite Only Series—an intentional space focused on financial literacy, access, and real strategy to move the needle in our communities.

If you felt the energy, if you believe in the mission, if you’re ready to be in the room where impact happens…
👉🏽 Join the page and stay connected.

The wrap up… impact doesn’t happen in a day. It happens when the right people decide to keep showing up. And we’re just getting warmed up. 💫 #DinnerAtDusk #FinancialLiteracyMonth #PowerOfOne by @thedinneratdusk

Honored and truly grateful to have been recognized at the Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic. ✨
To be acknowledged in a space that celebrates excellence, impact, and culture means everything.
Thank you for the platform, the community, and the continued support. The mission remains—build, grow, and create lasting impact.

A special thank you to @majasly @thedinneratdusk for bringing this vision to life so beautifully. 🤍 by @thedinneratdusk

There are moments as a mother that feel like full circle blessings, and this was one of them.

We had the honor of being highlighted at the Dinner at Dusk Polo Classic, a beautiful evening hosted by Maja Sly. Legacy was honored alongside my daughter, @keyeriahmiles for the work we’ve poured into Ladies Who Golf and that is something I carry with immense pride.

What made it even more meaningful is what this event stands for, supporting scholars and creating real pathways to education and homeownership.

Thank you @majasly @thedinneratdusk for the work that you do. This celebrations belongs to every woman who has trusted the journey, shown up, and continues to build with us. by @thedinneratdusk

Dinner at Dusk with my girl @majasly and she does NOT miss. Every year this woman shows up for kids trying to get to college —scholarships, books, the big and small expenses that add up and stand between a dream and a dead end.

That’s the real work. Pouring into the generation behind us because we need positive leaders and we need them NOW And listen —any excuse to put on a little hat and be elegant with the people? Say less. The polo theme was GIVING and we all delivered.
Shoutout to the honorees too for making something this beautiful out of pure love for a cause. Events like this don’t happen without real dedication and a real heart. @thedinneratdusk
And yep, I showed up feeling every bit of it — because I told y’all… I’m worthy and I love me. Because if you don’t, who will?🤍🙏🏾🐎❤️ by @thedinneratdusk

From the energy on the lawn to the generosity in the room… this was truly a party with a purpose.

The wrap up… one connection, one contribution, one moment can change everything. That’s the Power of One—and you all showed up in a major way.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Share your moments, tag us @thedinneratdusk, and stay connected for what’s next.

We’re just getting started. ✨

Some rooms are made of walls and light. This one was made of intention.

@thedinneratdusk founded by my beautiful friend @majasly is one of those experiences that reminds you why community matters.

My dear friend @DeannaHamilton was honored among a remarkable group of women, and we showed up for her the way she has always shown up for others.
Fascinators, Sunday”s best, and full hearts.
@majasly foundation also raised funds throughout the afternoon, because the best tables give back. I look forward to next year!!!
