Nice to meet you, Gems!💙
I’m Chiara from Rome (Italy), but everyone calls me Chiaggi!

Let me say that Disney fed me since I was born. Literally. I’ll just tell you that my parents initially wanted to name me Aurora; and it’s thanks to them that Disney has been an integral part of my childhood, not only as wholesome entertainment but also as a teacher of life and values🔐

The first time I went to @disneylandparis I was 4 years old, and since then I’ve never stopped going: it’s the place where I rediscover myself and the peace lost in the hustle and bustle of life🌈and, actually, it is also the place where I met my Disney Twin, Juliet.

I’m passionate about details, Easter Eggs, and the stories that connect the DLP’s attractions between them, like the famous tragedy that surrounds my beloved Phantom Manor and Frontierland👰🏻‍♀️

In short, @thedisneygems is my Disney diary where I’ll share all the magic I feel with you! So enjoy this journey and… never stop dreaming!✨

Welcome on board, Disney Gems!💎
Here are Chiaggi and Juliet speaking, two proud italian Disney Adults ready to take you with us in our Disney european park adventures!

We met at @disneylandparis in December 2024 and opened @thedisneygems in June 2025 to share all the magic and happiness we feel in proudly practicing Disney Adulting. Disney found two alone dreaming souls and put them together: so now we’re friends, Disney Twins more precisely, united by the same passion and dreams🔐💭

So just join us in this journey and be part of this enchanted story✨

Hello, Gems!❤️

My name is Giulia, but you can call me Juliet. I’m from Venice (Italy) and my history with Disney began a long time ago, between VHS tapes, songs, and daydreams✨

As a child of the ‘90s, I grew up on Disney, and thanks to it, I learned that magic really exists—you just have to believe in it💭

In 2022, I realized my dream of visiting @disneylandparis for the first time, and since then, that place has become a part of me. Every time I return, I feel like I’m coming home, to the place where imagination knows no age and where I can meet, once again, that little girl who dreamed enchanted by Disney VHS tapes🏰

@thedisneygems is my Disney diary to share all the magic with you all! So enjoy me in this journey and don’t stop dreaming!⭐️

Today we’re so excited to show you the result of a long-standing collaboration with portrait artist @bake_b.calcei😍

We’re “daughters of Frontierland”—not only our favorite land but, in our opinion, the most beautiful one because of its history, the story of the Ravenswood family👻

Barbara Calcei, in art known as Bake, agreed to create a piece that’s very dear to us: an oil painting on canvas, 100x80 cm, titled “Melanie.”

This amazing artist isn’t just one of our most passionate followers—she’s also as big a @disney fan as we are—and we’re honored to own such a rare piece and to be able to share it with all of you!👰🏻‍♀️

Below are all her contact details so you can view her work:

Henry Ravenswood and his wife Martha are just the beginning of a timeless story, set within the rock of Big Thunder Mountain and marked by a dramatic ending… 👰🏻‍♀️💐

Today we’re telling you a story – the Story – the one that permeates every metre of Frontierland and makes Halloween at @disneylandparis even more enchanting 👻

Have you ever wondered what Madame Leota exactly says when the Doom Buggy drives through the Seance Room at Phantom Manor in @disneylandparis?🔮

Below you’ll find the original text in English and French! What you’ll hear in this gem, however, is our own personal interpretation in Italian! 👻

—————————————————————————————

Goblins and Ghoulies, creatures of fright,
We summon you now, to dance through the night!
Esprits et fantômes sur vos fièrs destriers,
Escortez dans la nuit la belle fiancée!
Warlocks and witches, answer this call,
Your presence is wanted at this ghostly ball.
Des douze coups de minuit aux matines sonnantes,
Nous valserons ensemble, macabre débutante.
Join now the Spirits in Nuptial Doom...
A ravishing bride...
A vanishing groom
