A brief day hiking spent taking in the sounds of gushing water and winds through the forest canopy. Was solo until the final mile or so where I caught my first up close glimpse of a glacier. Made several friends over dinner that was improved by Chilean hot sauce courtesy of @ankita1208

Day 2 began with meeting the advertised strong winds of Patagonia struggling to get through the first few miles while getting knocked down during gusts and hiding out behind shrubs. Once bending around the ridge line the glacial gusts ceased with great weather and scenery for the rest of the early afternoon for this quick segment. A warm refugio for the night and some Austral @patagoniacerveceria

Coconino County, AZ // 6.10.24 ~ just like I saw it ~

the best sunset I saw last year after my first hike of the year tackling Humphrey’s Peak post broken foot. I sat atop of a 4Runner for a few hours taking in dusk to nightfall happy just to be there.
