It’s out! Never Ever Somewhere, our full length album recorded in June 2024! Out on all streaming platforms cause even though Spotify sucks we want folks to be able to listen to our music. The Dolltones began as a dream for @abedaltonsound to record something special, a story about becoming yourself through acceptance and perseverance. This album is a journey full of distorted alt rock and shoegaze sounds with catchy melodies and lyrics, adorned with poetry and prose that tell a tale. Recorded at @sunroomstudios.avl with @imnotalexjones , artwork by @sketchyjeffy , produced by Adam Pallin, mastered by Patrick Doyle. Thank you to all who aided us on our journey. @sunroomstudios.avl @evantron3000 @cattticus @imnotalexjones @homophobicgaywad @_valentizzle_ @sketchyjeffy @ink.grinder.flash @jake___ekaj @jehardwick The Dolltones are @bensurvant @pdomres @abedaltonsound https://open.spotify.com/album/2YoxKr9ccCvHeua6pA5wVa?si=iOmyY8iyS7KcdfxA5GV1Zg by @thedolltones
Our debut single ‘2021’ is about leaving the past behind and throwing caution to the wind - traveling across the land and into the unknown… stumbling into home and a newfound hope. A fitting theme for our band’s first music video - produced by our man of many instruments, @bensurvant Continuing this theme of firsts, ‘2021’ is the opening track to our debut album “Never Ever Somewhere,” which we will release in April. Stay tuned for more Dolltones songs, and perhaps another video in the near future… 👀 #thedolltones #emo #shoegaze #indiemusic by @thedolltones

Here’s some clips from the recent show. Ran later than expected, but it was fun af anyways, and $181 was raised from door donations. Two donations (totaling $181) were sent to an M.A.D volunteer/representative so that credit could be given to the bands along with some details regarding the show. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed, including bands/musicians such as @sophia.redd.music @thedolltones and @tripp_rcm , the @rbc.wcu for bouncing and collecting donations, and those who attended and/or donated. Look forward to the future, next show is the 25th at Sage Cafe (Warren Wilson College). by @thedolltones
