🧡3D Flower-y Pumpkin Chocolate Bonbons🧡 Totally (and unexpectedly) veered from my initial plans for these pumpkins, and found myself doing quite the opposite. Went the ‘pretty’ route instead! This is one of two designs that I made, both adorned with different styles of modeling chocolate flowers. Definitely not your standard Halloween fare, lol, but I really love how they look. All the textures and colours..! 😍 All clips in this video were filmed and edited together (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. This reel is just a little teaser, which I edited together really quickly to post before Halloween 👻. Am also working on some more edits, with both styles of bonbons. Will try to finish them up ASAP. 🍊Hyperrealistic Orange Segment Chocolate Bonbons🍊 Voilà!! At long last, the final part of this ‘Orange Project Journey’ that I’ve been on. I am finding myself wanting to cast more of everything though, and even make some more molds..!! So maybe this is more of a pause than an end?! All clips in this video were filmed and edited together (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. 👉🏻 Orange Zest Infused White Chocolate Shells + Orange Vanilla Marshmallow Filled With: Orange Cardamom White Chocolate Ganache Made With: ⭐️Organic Cacao Butter, Maras Pink Mountain Salt & Organic Ground Bourbon (Madagascar) Vanilla Beans from @giddyyo_reborn ⭐️W2 White Chocolate by @callebautchocolate ⭐️Oil Soluble Colours @by.haute ⭐️Miyabi Petty Knife from @knifewear ❤️🍊🍫 #handcraftedchocolates #bonbonart #edibleart #selftaught #thedonnakim by @thedonnakim

🍊Welcome to The Smashing - Hyperrealistic Chocolate Oranges 🍊 Well, it took some time and a whole lot of thinking, but I think I got there! What started off as an idea for a little orange chocolate bonbon, grew into something much much bigger. The end result being something super fun and ohh so satisfying! Hope you enjoy watching! This whole concept started because I just really wanted to smash an orange, lol! Like Terry’s Chocolate Oranges 🍊 But then my mind ran with it, and I thought about how cool it would be to be able to ‘peel’ it and eat the orange segments too… The segments in this video were the ones that I made using the orange segment mold that I bought (and modified). I didn’t really like the look of these molds, but I decided to just use them anyways. I gave them a really good ‘paint job’, to override the odd mold shape and details, and to somewhat trick the eye. I did also make my own orange segment molds, and I LOVE how they turned out! Will give you a looksie once I finish editing a video together.. All clips in this video were filmed and then edited together (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. 🍊Hyperrealistic Chocolate Oranges 🍊 I have had these oranges on my mind for a while now, and it feels great to get them out of my imagination and into reality! When this project first started, I purchased some molds of oranges and orange segments. But when I started casting them, omg, I really hated them, they were U-G-L-Y! 😂 The oranges, in particular, were awful. So, being a props maker, I decided to just make my own molds. And then just like that, my little project suddenly became much bigger! I am super happy that my oranges are finally done, and I feel pretty good about how they turned out. I am especially proud of my seams, it always feels so satisfying to be able to make them disappear! Can’t wait to show you the rest!! The segments, the interior…! I have everything filmed now (I think? 😅), and will have to get onto editing it all asap. Filmed and edited (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. Filled With: Orange Vanilla Marshmallow Orange Anise Chocolate Ganache Made With: ⭐️Oil Soluble Colours @by.haute ⭐️Organic Cacao Butter, Maras Pink Mountain Salt & Organic Ground Bourbon (Madagascar) Vanilla Beans from @giddyyo_reborn ⭐️W2 (Orange Shells), 70-30-38 (Orange Segment Shells), and 811 (Orange-Anise Ganache) by @callebautchocolate ❤️🍊🍫 #handcraftedchocolates #bonbonart #edibleart #selftaught #thedonnakim by @thedonnakim
🍊Abstract ‘Orange’ Chocolate Bonbons!🍊 I’ve had ‘oranges’ on my mind lately, and have started playing around with a little project. I needed to run a quick colour test, which led to the creation of these. Voilà! Love the colours and texture! Filmed and edited (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. 🍓 A Look Inside My 3D Strawberry Chocolate Bonbon 🍓 These beauties taste like a Strawberry Matcha Milkshake, soooo so yummy!! ♦️Juxtaposition Meets A Strawberry Bonbon♦️ I really love how visually striking the contrasting colours are, and how theatrical this little confection is!! These chocolate bonbons had many details and components, both inside and out. And omg there were an umpteen little tiny ‘seeds’ to paint!😅 Filmed and edited (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. Currently working on a new video showcasing a look inside of these beauties, please stay tuned! 🌟When A ‘Strawberry’ Chocolate Bonbon Meets Haute Couture🌟 I’m still playing around with berries over here, but this time around things got a little bit more dramatic. In my imagination, this is what could happen if a sweet non assuming strawberry bonbon walked down the street of high fashion OR was cast in a Bond (007) movie... 🤔🤩 Filmed and edited (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. Still have more footage to sort through and edit, and another berry ‘look’ to share - not as glamorous as this one but definitely still in the realm of theatrical! 🍓 A Strawberry Bonbon With a Golden Maple Leaf For Canada Day 🍓 I have been playing around with ‘strawberries’ these days and thought I would doctor one up to help celebrate Canada Day! 🇨🇦 I sculpted the little maple leaf onto this cute berry using some tempered white chocolate. Then I ‘gilded’ the leaf with lustre powder, to accentuate and tease out all the textures. Et voilà, une fraise Canadienne! (A Canadian Strawberry!) Oh, and the strawberry top was sculpted with some modelling chocolate. Filmed and edited (by myself) on my Sony FX30 using DaVinci Resolve. And please stay tuned for some more strawberry action! I am feeling excited to work on editing the rest of my footage, really love how these berries turned out…!!
