[Long post alert!] The end of an era…

And the beginning of something new! 💪🏾

My band and I started The Dope Spot Studios back in 2013. We just wanted a comfortable rehearsal space. Eventually, I started hosting open mics and recording bands and artists. The Dope Spot turned into something much more than I could ever image. It was a place for community… a place for artists and musicians to build, learn, network and grow and it’s been such an amazing journey and experience to have a space where I can give back to my community where I was born and raised.

With that said, I want to thank each and every one of you who have ever stepped foot into The Dope Spot and contributed in any way. We have officially closed our studio after 12 years, but we have so much more in store! We are currently operating out of Phoenix, Arizona! For those of you in Arizona, feel free to reach out if you need any of our services. More updates coming very soon regarding the studio space and other opportunities!

For those of you in Cali, we would love to continue working with you all on a remote level. We are currently offering remote services such as Mixing, Mastering, Custom Beat Production and Artist Development Workshops via Zoom. Also, we do plan to open a new studio in California sometime in 2026! Again, will keep you all posted!

Lastly, we will be launching an app very soon so you can easily book sessions and other services. Be on the look out and stay in the loop! LET’S CONTINUE TO MAKE SOMETHING DOPE! 🙌🏾 taken in Pomona, California by @thedopespotstudios

"Artist Supporting Artist"

Supporting a fellow music artist means being there for them in various ways: promoting their work, attending their shows, giving constructive feedback, collaborating on projects, sharing resources, offering encouragement during tough times, and celebrating their successes. It's about fostering a supportive community and helping each other grow creatively and professionally. taken in Inland Empire, CA by @thedopespotstudios
