In the very early rough stages of creating a large collage drawing for a cause I'm very excited about. At first I was a bit stumped about how to sketch this out on a huge piece of paper without having to erase and re-draw if I didn't like the composition. It seemed like a monumental task because I am a big erase-and-re-draw-er. As you can clearly see in the second image lol.

First I tried a very rough sketch on a smaller piece of paper for a general idea of shape. Then, after sleeping on it, I realized that I don't HAVE to arrange it all at once by drawing directly on the paper: I can draw each animal on a small piece, then arrange and rearrange to my hearts desire. I can change the size or orientation of one without having to erase and redraw the others to fit, then when satisfied, I can transfer it all over pretty easily.

I am currently on medical leave from volunteering for a few weeks while a herniated disc heals, but I'm really happy that I have other, less physically demanding skills to contribute to @salthaven_org while I wait to get back into the clinic with the animals!
