Choose this one when you really want to show off the view but be a part of it!1. Grab the phone, small tripod or something to lean your phone on, and timer! No photographer! That’s it 📸2. Take this one slow so you are sure to capture it the first time or use the camera on burst mode! This one looks candid, but is 100% planned 😂QUICK TIP: stand a little further from the camera than usual to take the focus out and around! Drop the phone to a lower spot so that you appear to be floating on the sand or surface you’re standing on. Also, clean that lens in between photos if you need more than one. We did half board in the Maldives and liked it MORE — here’s the exact 5-day flow we actually did at Furaveri 🌴Everyone told us to do full board or all-inclusive. We didn’t. And it was the best decision because:- we weren’t stuffed by 3PM + actually wanted dinner- lunch: pool snacks + fresh fruit (lighter, perfect with a sip)- dinner felt like an event again (half board = dinner included)Slide 2–6 is the exact time-block itinerary we lived in. There was definitely room for two on that floaty, I just preferred the legroom 🚢🤷‍♀️He lugged my oversized floaty across the world, blew it up, almost flipped it trying to get on, and in return, I let him watch me float away into the pristine Maldivian horizon. If that isn’t true love, I don’t know what is!Shoutout to all the husbands currently in a vicious cycle of carrying 45 pounds of beach gear in 90-degree heat so we can get a 7-second aesthetic clip and endless relaxation. Some people travel to relax, others travel to complete an unhinged 72-hour mission 🫠He thought we were just going to sit on the beach and read a book, but my let’s-do-it-all brain physically cannot handle sitting still in the same spot for more than an a few minutes 😆. The footage - 1,000/10! The Look - 0/10 😆The mountain wind at that elevation was no joke, and there was zero chance I was risking our drone! 💨❌So I pivoted to Plan B: turning myself into a human selfie stick with the Insta360 X5 wedged straight into my backpack. ‘Too old’??? That view though 😮‍💨!They always ask why we didn’t just book Aria or Cosmo instead! But after checking into the renovated Bellagio Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip, we are officially obsessed! Would you step off of a 108-story building? Ok, for $10,000 💸?📍 SkyJump @vegas Yes, Las Vegas is glitz and glamour. And yes, that’s typically how we do it! But this time…the other side of Las Vegas came out to play! This all started 3 years ago when we visited Las Vegas for the first time together, and had dinner at the Top Of The World restaurant at the top of The Strat Hotel in Las Vegas. Those panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip, also came with a view we were surprised to see….PEOPLE FALLING DOWN THE WINDOWS 😆! Of course, that caught our attention, and our waiter casually said, “oh yes! That’s the SkyJump. You can jump 108 stories and land on your feet!”. Now, the thing is, I (Nina) am afraid of a few things….one of those is heights! But, I do have this part of me that’s all about getting over my fears WITHIN REASON. THIS HAD to be my next adventure. Sadly, they were booked for the day, so no jumping. Unlike a bungee jump or freefall, this is a controlled descent to the bottom where you land on your feet. It starts a a free fall for a few second, then the cords slow you down for a nice and easy stop. Just the idea of trusting those cords to do what they’re supposed to do, is a really scary feeling if you’re afraid of heights and risk haha! Fast forward to 3 years later, and this time, it was going to happen! Is it terrifying? ABSOLUTELY! Would I do it again? 1000%, YES! KNOW BEFORE YOU GO⬇️• This is a safe jump, but with everything comes risk!• Make sure you’re heart is healthy enough to experience this• The rope will pull you as you step off of the edge • Ask for the GoPro or 360 camera package • Make sure to extend your legs on landing (don’t fall)• Wear comfortable shoes and clothes• Book AHEAD of time!
