Having Ashley, Kendall, and Marah come back to be part of our photoshoot this year was one of those moments that made me stop and think about what being a team really means.

A true team lasts long after all of the glitter, practice, and hairspray is over.

There is something truly special about the people who keep showing up when they no longer have to. The ones who graduate, grow up, and begin new chapters of their lives but somehow, they still find their way back.

Ashley, Kendall, and Marah have poured many countless hours of themselves into DTDC. They helped create traditions, memories, friendships, and pieces of this team that our younger dancers are now getting to experience. Even though their competition days with us have ended, they have never stopped representing Dream Team. THAT is what I hope every dancer who comes through Dream Team learns.

Being a teammate isn’t temporary. Someday the costumes won’t fit anymore. The trophies will collect dust. You’ll forget some of the choreography you once practiced hundreds of times. Your Saturdays will no longer be spent in rehearsal, and eventually someone else will stand in the spot that used to be yours.

But,

I hope you never forget the people who stood beside you.

I hope years from now, when someone from this team needs you, you show up.

I hope you continue celebrating each other’s accomplishments, checking in during the hard seasons, cheering from the audience, coming back to visit, and loving the people who once shared the stage with you.

Because that is a true team.

It isn’t “until graduation.”
It isn’t “until my last competition.”
It isn’t “until I’m not dancing anymore.”

It’s always.

Ashley, Kendall, and Marah — thank you for being living proof of everything I have always wanted Dream Team to stand for. For continuing to show up, for loving this team and the dancers who come after you, and for reminding our current members that when we say team, we mean something much bigger than dance.

You may be our alumni, but you will never be our former teammates. There will always be a place for you in our photos and most importantly, on this team. 💙 by @thedreamteamdance

We are so proud of Reagan for attending Michigan States Dance Team’s One-Day Summer Camp! 💚🤍

She spent the day training in new styles, learning from incredible choreographers, and pushing herself outside of her comfort zone. Although she was one of the youngest dancers there at only 12, she absolutely held her own and made the most of every opportunity.

Experiences like this are what help dancers grow, dream bigger, and find inspiration for the future. Reagan came home motivated and excited to keep working hard toward her goal of one day dancing on a college team, and we know her dedication will take her far!

What a fun way to wrap up our season! 💙✨

Reagan, Grace, Alex, Madi, Daniel, and Claire represented Dream Team Dance Co. at Addiction Dance Competition Nationals this week! Although it was our “off” year for nationals, these six dancers made the most of every moment and had an absolute blast together. Shoutout to Saige for being a great supportive sister.

From cheering each other on to making memories between performances, the two days of solos were filled with laughter, growth, and so much fun. We are incredibly proud of how they represented our team both on and off the stage!

Now we’re already counting down the days until next year when our entire team will be together for Nationals 2027. We can’t wait to make even more unforgettable memories with all of our Dreamers! ⭐️

What an incredible week for our dancers! 🩰✨

Madelyn, Mollee, and Marah had the amazing opportunity to attend the Boston to Bay Harbor Summer Program, where they trained all week alongside professional dancers from the Boston Ballet. Their hard work, dedication, and passion for dance led to an unforgettable experience, culminating in the opportunity to perform on stage with these incredible artists last night.

We are so proud of the way they represented our studio and embraced every moment of this opportunity. The performance was absolutely beautiful, and watching them shine on stage was something truly special.

A special shoutout to Eve, who also participated in the one-day ballet workshop and had a wonderful experience learning from these talented instructors.

Thank you to Paul Craig and Deb Knight for creating and continuing such an inspiring program for young dancers. Opportunities like these make a lasting impact and help nurture the next generation of artists.

Season 7 is in full swing! 💙

Our end of the year banquet/start of a new year party was exactly what everyone needed.

We will miss our amazing senior Marah SO INCREDIBLY much. She is such a joy and her talent amazes us all. We know we will see her all of the time though as it’s a requirement for all graduating seniors. Just ask @alto.ashley & @kendallmcneilly 😉

We finally have Aria on the team this year! We’ve been working on her for 2 years now so this was a long time coming. She already fits so perfectly that we forgot that this will be her first year.

Claire is officially on the team now too so I think we are all pretty ecstatic about that!

The dancers officially signed their contracts, making their commitment to Season 7 official! They also found out their Bigs, Middles, and Littles, along with all of the dances they’ll be a part of this year. There were lots of smiles, excitement, and maybe a few happy tears as everyone started to see this season come together.

I want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to The Greenhouse for hosting us! Also giant thank you to @embrey1 for our banner! We appreciate it every year! The kids always look forward to it and they loved seeing their hints in it😏

We can’t wait to see where this season takes us. The talent, determination, and heart in this group make us even more excited for what’s ahead.

Last time, best time ✨
Showbiz was the perfect way to close out our season with full hearts, strong performances, and everyone truly shining on stage. I couldn’t be more proud of how these dancers showed up for one another and finished the season so strong 🤍

This one was bittersweet as we say goodbye to our senior Marah who performed with us for the last time. We are so sad to see this chapter end, but so excited to watch her step into bigger and better things. Once a DT dancer, always a DT dancer 💙

A little late, but still worth celebrating ✨
Some highlight moments from Addiction Dance Competition.

We are so proud of the growth, hard work, and the memories made on the stage. We loved being there alongside our sister studios and sharing such a special weekend together 🤍

🌸 SPRING BREAK DANCE PHOTO CHALLENGE — DAY 10 🌸

✨ DAY 10: FRAME YOURSELF ✨
For our final day, dancers were challenged to frame themselves — using anything from doorways and mirrors to hands, arches, or creative shapes 📸🖼️

This challenge brought the entire week together with creativity, intention, and strong composition. Our judges loved seeing how dancers used framing to draw the eye and tell a story. After 24 hours of submissions and final deliberation…

🌸 SPRING BREAK DANCE PHOTO CHALLENGE — DAY 9 🌸

✨ DAY 9: FORCED PERSPECTIVE ✨
For Day 9, dancers were challenged to change their perspective by playing with distance — having objects close to the camera while the dancer was far away (or vice versa) 📸👀

This challenge was all about illusion, creativity, and thinking differently, and our judges loved how inventive the photos were. After 24 hours of submissions and careful deliberation…
