Heidie also had two houses, one old, one brutalist (which I actually liked!) and a textile exhibition but best of all a potager and several delightfully unkempt kitchen gardens all quite difficult to capture in bright Australian sunlight. #heidie #gardens #artistscommunity #architecture #art by @theduchessnz

Excellent exhibition at Heidie in Melbourne featuring the work of Brassaï. Beautifully staged, 150 photographs. And a photographer photographing photographs. @caseymoore #photograhy #heidie #brassai #melbourne by @theduchessnz

Recent house portrait commissioned by @charlottevjmont, one of my top clients!for her sister and brother in law. Thanks are also due to my two Pocket Dreamer pals @georgina___gray and @a.j.maxwell who took the photos for me to work from. I was away from home when I started planning this so did a few extra little drawings of details, some of which were used, some not. I even tried a bit of white paint over green pencil; that didn’t make the cut! #drawing #houseportrait #pencil #commission #garden by @theduchessnz

On the desk this week. Finished the gourd still life. Hellebore postcard. Handmade envelopes to match large cards. Fiordland cards, and now I know how to post a mix of horizontal and vertical images, so happy! And a seed sharing session with @phillipatrumic This flat lay a minuscule amount of the seeds we seem to have accumulated. #drawing #postcard #cardmaking #fiordland #seeds by @theduchessnz
