The Kids Seminar w/ @tainandalpra , @marcelogarciajiujitsu , & Professor @thalisonvsoares at @theacademybyronbay was definitely 1 to remember. The kids were soo happy to finally see 4x black belt world champion @tainandalpra again !

Ever since we went to Cali to train at AOJ , the kids’ love for jiu jitsu has grown so much ! So much , that now they are officially learning and training under professor @thalisonvsoares & @chilli_harel to grow their knowledge and technique here in Australia! Thank you to The Academy for bringing these legends here & putting together such a memorable event 🫡 by @theducks_roll

Yesterday marks 1 year of competing for Normani & Bless . Bless is the new QLD STATE CHAMPION of 2026 in gi and no gi 🥇. He was ready and it showed . We are so proud of what jiu jitsu means to him & what this sport has done for him ! He's hungry and wants every hard fight 💪🏾😤 Thank you @aaron_wise11 for your time & patience w/ Bless 🙌🏽

Normani is 3rd place in her division . She didnt get the result she wanted not because she wasnt prepared but because sometimes we are our own worst enemy mentally . The loses hurt but you learn the most when you lose and overcome . We saw growth and thats all we can ask for from her 🥳

Thank you to their sponsors @suave_kimonos for the gear, making comps a breeze 🤌🏽

& thank you to the @southsidebjj_ /@southsidetrainingcentre team for always pushing them to be their best self on and off the mats .
TY Coach Rod & @jcutlerbjj , Hamza & @nicholasyyang 🤙🏾

huge thank you to @paul_pasha_stolyar & @vicentecavalcanti_ for taking the time to talk to Normani and build her up mentally , that meant the world ! 🫶🏽 Thank you for taking the time to shape the next generation ! by @theducks_roll
