Let me brag about my wife for a minute…

We’re getting closer to meeting our baby girl, and I don’t want to let this season pass without giving Bri her flowers.

I get to celebrate becoming a dad while she carries our daughter and experiences all the changes that come with it. There’s so much about pregnancy that I can support her through but never fully understand firsthand. And watching her has given me a deeper appreciation for the woman I married.

Bri, I see you. I love you, and I’m grateful for you. You don’t have to make any of this look easy for me to be proud of you.

Our little girl hasn’t met you face to face yet, but she’s already been loved by you every day of her life. I can’t wait to watch that love continue as you hold her in your arms.

Thank God I get to do this with you 🔒🤞🏾😘

Babygirl, your daddy and I are so excited to meet you. We can’t help but daydream about all of the ways you will bring light, love and truth to this world. Getting to be your parents is one of the greatest gifts God has ever given us. You are our greatest joy & the true reflection of God’s favor on us. We are so grateful that He has entrusted us with you and we promise to always love, protect & guide you according to His will.

We had the best time yesterday celebrating our babygirl! We don’t know what we did to deserve such a beautiful community full of love, support, generosity & kindness! We are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude to see the way the 3 of us are loved so deeply. I can’t wait to share with her the story of the beautiful way her village came together to shower her parents as we prepared to bring her into the world. We pray that this family can be a vessel where many more blessings flow through us to all that we encounter. Thank you to everyone who traveled from near and far, purchased gifts, for every prayer and for every word of encouragement. We are eternally grateful. This baby is surely blessed!

Mother’s Day feels a bit sweeter now 🤍🩷

Watching you step into motherhood, even before holding our baby girl, has been one of the most beautiful pictures of grace I’ve ever seen. The way you love, the way you trust the Lord, and the way you’ve already begun caring for our baby girl is the sweetest gift to me.

I see it in the quiet moments, in the way you carry her with such tenderness, in the way you’ve embraced every change, every unknown, with faith. You’re already laying down your life in a thousand small ways, and it reflects the heart of Christ more than you probably realize.

I’m reminded that God is already at work in and through you. Our daughter is being covered in prayer, shaped by your faith, and carried by a love that points her straight to Jesus.

I’m so grateful I get to walk this journey with you. Because of Jesus, we know this story is in His hands, and that gives me so much peace and joy as we wait for October.

Happy Mother’s Day, Bri. She is already so blessed to have you as her mom, and I am too.
