My flesh is so weak but my God is so strong. 😮‍💨

All praise due to the one who saved me from myself. About one month ago I decided to make the public decision to give my life back to Christ. Although I know He’s never left my side I know sometimes I’ve strayed from His. With God’s mercy and grace I am made new in Him and that is the biggest sacrifice I can make when He’s made many for me. To God be the glory! I pray this message reaches everyone who’s afraid to submit to His love. I promise he’ll never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:8) by @thee.honorable1

To Thee First Man That Ever Loved Me… My Pops.

I am still getting used to living life without you and hearing you tell me “you got to do it, because you’re used to it”. I’m truly trying to keep doing what I have to do but without you there’s definitely a void.

We shared the same smile, same love for vinyl, bean pie, and road running. You taught me how to be loved and how to love. Pops taught me the trick of the trade and to hustle intentionally. Being my pops favorite wasn’t an easy task because that man kept up with me every single day; asking everyone my whereabouts and if I made it in the house or if I’m outside road running again. Lessons about how to check my oil level, to how to make navy beans with smoked turkey. I got my sweet tooth from my pops and my big head from him as well. He’s known as “Bulldog/Dog” to the community but to me he was just my Pops…

He instilled that Dog in me from a young age and I promise yall the Dog in my only has grown since his departure. So for you pops I’m ready to learn how to live without you but I will never forget you and your love for me.
