Dad went to be with Jesus last Wednesday. Ground Hog Day of all days… he hated ground hogs. Lol. (Sorry BoB Vacarro). He is missed terribly by all, but those who really know him know that he is healed now, walking around heaven in a much younger body, and wouldn’t come back if he could.
He found this poem by Bernie Lemon may years ago. He liked it so much mom typed it out for him and he gave my brother and I a copy (next post). I thought this pic was perfect for it.

The day I took this picture I went from feeling like Gideon hiding in a wine press to Gideon leading 300 men to victory against thousands then back to the wine press again.
When it was all finally over, God came through BIG for me and @jenqualk and our farm. I give Him all the glory.

End of calving season selfie (for now). We never took a before picture, but we certainly would’ve looked a lot cleaner and much less tired. So far we’ve had 18 calves in 22 days… God is certainly good!

A gift from our youth group seniors. The retreat this weekend, their last, was bittersweet. I really enjoyed spending my time in the mountains with them, but we all knew the inevitable was coming. I am so thankful to have watched all of them grow in their relationship with Jesus over the last six years.
.
May God bless you deeply as you go forth from this place and into the world. .
As one!

Just got back from the Jumonville retreat 2020. What an amazing spirit filled weekend of fun and fellowship. Thank you God for the myriad of answered prayers. And thank you God for these youth!

Our Youth Group Seniors. .
An an excellent game tonight... and most likely their last one on their home field.
And a shout out to the band and cheerleaders for an amazing senior night performance.

Meet Kip, my daughters new half-linger. He’s “sort of broke”. I jumped on his back bareback expecting a rodeo but he just walked away with me .... my 46-year-old body was very thankful :-) #qualkfarm #qualkkids by @thee_q
