If y’all know me, y’all know how much I love giving and providing for people. No matter if you are family or a complete stranger, I’ve always felt a personal responsibility to ensure that anyone around me has a better day after they’ve left my presence. And this Mother’s Day and I wanted to make sure the beautiful women in my family received that x100. I wanted to create an afternoon of love and appreciation and I did just that.

I came up with the idea of having a Mother’s Day Tea a couple months ago when I was going through a very dark time in my life. I feel like planning and going through with this event really helped heal many parts of me and I am truly appreciative of that.

Through all the blood, sweat, and LITERAL tears (if you know you know😅), I was determined to execute the vision I had because I knew that the women in my family deserved it.

When I tell y’all, I picked out every decoration down to the napkin rings, the food, the DJ, the photographer, the games we played, the sign, the chairs we sat in, and the tables we ate our food on. Every detail had a meaning and story that was portrayed.

Though it was a long journey of putting everything together (And I mean a LONG journey), seeing everything come together in the end meant so much to me and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome!

Thank you to my cousin JR for taking pictures last minute because I had 4 photographers cancel on me and he was the only solid one so I deeply appreciate you for coming through❤️

Thank you to the men in my family who helped me put things together and who contributed financially. I love you all❤️
