My name is Bear, I think. I like going on walks, sleeping, and chasing lizards. Oh! And eating anything I can find.

Hi.. I’m Skooty. Bears brother. If u don’t already know by now, my brother passed away feb 14th. Trying to navigate this new life without him and I’m finding it harder than I thought. I keep looking for him wherever I go.. walking at our usual places and I still keep looking. I guess he’s not coming back. I’m sad. But I need to be strong for our mom. So that’s what I’m gonna do - and I’m going to honor my brother by keeping his page alive… I miss u brother Bear. 💔❤️❤️‍🩹 by @theebearboy

Today I found out that I am bleeding internally from a ruptured spleen tumor. My belly is filling up and lethargy is setting in. My family hasn’t left my side, they keep smothering me for some reason, and are really starting to get on my last nerve. From what I hear? My last physical day with my humans is Saturday. Not sure what that means just yet……. All I know is - I’ve had a great 9 years with them. They provided yummy food, treats galore, cozy places to sleep, a giant swimming pool all to myself, a walk, sometimes two - every damn day. A glow ball at night so I can chase that fucker down. Belly rubs. My own chair next to my mom’s desk where I can lay next to her while she works. Brothers and sisters who smother me, above and beyond. I’m blessed. I guess my time is up here. It’s been a fun ride. I just wish my mom and brother would stop crying. Damn buzz kill 🐾 by @theebearboy
