| nitrous oxide which is lauging gas is recommended occasionally by some women who prefer not to be administered epidural , although it doesn’t fully eliminate the pain but it can help dull the pain and lessen anxiety while allowing your baby to be drug free during the entire process |

| what some hospitals and doctors fail to explain is although epidural can cause numbness while reducing the pain , it also can cause the mother’s blood pressure to rise while lowering the babies heart rate . In some cases , this results in longer delivery , trouble with breastfeeding , fetal distress , nerve damage and etc . , while nitrous oxide has limited effects like nausea , dizziness all while not having an effect on your baby |
