Birthdays have always been a really reflective time for me. I usually spend more time thinking about my life than celebrating it. But this year, I wanted to make room for both.

I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate than welcoming my friends and family into @oppbaltimore for the first time.

A night of firsts. Exciting, nerve-racking, emotional, and perfectly imperfect. But looking around that room and seeing it filled with people who have supported me through so many different seasons of my life meant more than I probably expressed that night.

To everyone who celebrated with me, checked on me, encouraged me, loved me, and continues to show up for me, thank you! I’m so grateful I got to share this moment with you 🫶🏾

As I settle into my personal new year, I’m celebrating the people who continue to show up for me. I’m celebrating how far I’ve come. I’m giving myself grace for everything I’m still learning. And I’m allowing myself to be proud of what I’m building, even while it’s still being built.
