A little reintroduction because we’ve got some new faces around here. 🤍 Hey y’all, I’m Ashley, the owner of The Hair Project, a luxury extension studio based in College Park, Maryland. ✨ I’m 21 years old, and I’m Ghanaian 🇬🇭 + Nigerian 🇳🇬. Hair has always been a part of me. I grew up doing my own hair, then started doing everyone else’s. What started as cornrows for my school administration eventually turned into my real passion luxury extension services. Today, I specialize in natural-looking sew-ins and also provide quality hair because I believe your install is only as good as the hair you’re wearing. I’m a little obsessed with education, whether that’s teaching my clients how to properly care for their extensions or helping them choose the right hair texture for their lifestyle. I truly believe luxury isn’t just about how your hair looks when you leave the salon it’s about how it wears weeks later. Outside of the salon, you’ll probably find me planning my next business move, traveling, or figuring out new ways to create an even better experience for my clients.
