That Lent life update ✨

I took a break from social media during Lent and realized a few things.
1. Social media is a loud voice in my life. Cutting that voice out made room for new voices. I spent more time in Gods word which is much more life giving than insta.
2. It was hard at first to not be on social media, but after a few weeks, I didn’t miss it and actually enjoyed life more in some ways.
3. FOMO is a real thing.

5 things I’ve learned in 5 years of marriage @murphymmurphy

1. Dirty laundry belongs in the laundry basket. Not on the floor, not next to the basket. In the basket.

2. Laughing is easier (and more fun) than fighting. Always try to make her laugh.

3. I have learned a lot about God’s grace and His love for me through His daughter that He blessed me with.

4. I’m even luckier than what I thought I was five years ago.

5. I have the best partner and best friend that this life could ever offer.

So glad we got to grab dinner with @malloryjk18 before she moves 😢

Mal has been such a faithful friend and co-worker to @murphymmurphy and I. So thankful God brought you to my office at DBU a few years back and that we got to serve together for the past year at northwest! It’s been a privilege watching God work in your life and seeing such an example of someone who really trusts God at His word. We love you and are excited to see how God uses you in the future!!

Life update. Just had the best week at camp! So thankful for Gods love and the way he worked in my life and these students lives this past week.

I went to this same camp as a student and God worked in my life in some powerful ways back then. It was cool to be back and see God still working in me as an adult. I’m so thankful for His love that never gets over me, tired of me, or done with me.
