From my family to yours! Have a great school year! May our children have a year full of learning laughter and fun! Ari’s too cool for pictures - James is always cooperative and Sophia doesn’t want to be bothered. So you’re going to enjoy these pics because mama tried. by @theejanel

WHAT THIS MEANS IN PLAIN ENGLISH:

The Congressional Black Caucus is asking the Department of Justice to take a closer look at Nolan Wells’ death through an independent federal review.

Now, lawmakers are demanding answers from the DOJ and have given the department seven days to respond.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT:

The DOJ responds to the lawmakers’ request.

From there, the key question is whether the department agrees to an independent review and, if so, what that investigation will examine.

We’ll be watching for the response.#NolanWells #DOJ #CongressionalBlackCaucus #Newark #WestWardBeans by @theejanel
